Programs that Lasted Too Long

Recommended Posts

Rick Steiner Vs. Scott Steiner, good lord that was mind numbing to see continue.

It wouldn't have been so bad with a real blowoff. Instead 3 of the 4 ppv matches between the two ended in no contests. And the only thing anyone remembers about the one match they finished was the ridiculously out-of-shape Giant doing a missile dropkick.

Definatley agree with HBK/HHH. Both guys have been fueding on and off for almost 5 years now. Give it a break already!

Lesnar/Big Show also went on entirely too long IMO. They fueded pretty much from October 2002 all the way until July '03.

Cena/Show gets my vote as well and was even more killed by the fact that Cena pinned him 3 times clean before their WM bout (and still, a 4th one managed to be on the show) and ruined the magic of Cena FUing Show.

-HBK/Undertaker 1997-1998 (It should have ended at Badd Blood. There was no need for the cheesy burning of the casket at Royal Rumble 1998.)

The burning of the casket was, while cheesy, kind of the way, I felt to give some heat to Kane. Agreed with what you said, but it wasn't totally unnecessary.

Austin-McMahon should have ended at Wrestlemania 15. It lost a ton of steam after the "Greater Power" bullshit.

It seems like their has been some sort of evil booker screwing the babyface the entire time sense 1998.

Vince's program with Hogan in 2003, most of Smackdown's 2003 was Evil Vince vs Face of the month.

Like Drury said, Vince's feuds go on for way too long.
