Hawk 34 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Why the HELL do the Saints fans want to take Bush?!?! Do these yahoos realize in the NFL, one draft can take you from the bottom to the playoffs or better? You have Duece, you don't need Bush. Deal it, give it to the Jets and take what you need. Bush may turn out to be god's gift to football, doesn't mean he'll get you to the playoffs. It's all thanks to that little thing called, HYPE. They buy into it all.
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Wow the Saints didn't use the whole clock. And they took Bush, double shock. Although I wouldn't be shocked to see him traded real quickly. Although the New York fans booing makes me happy.
Hawk 34 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Why are JETS fans always more into the draft then Giants fans?
Damaramu Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Berman is even more obnoxious than usual with the Bush love. Well they all are obnoxious wiht the Bush love.
naiwf Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I still think the Jets will pull the trigger on a trade for Bush in the next hour or so.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 ... here we go... Well New Orleans, good job making another boneheaded move. Maybe they'll pull off a trade to the Jets ala the Eli Manning trade a few years back? What the fuck happens to Deuce McAllister now? And for god's sake please don't tell me the Jets need a linebacker.
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 This commentary is ridiculous. I mean really, this is just sad.
jwest27 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Yeah, that Deuce McCallister is good, but he's no REGGIE BUSH OMG! THEY DID THE RIGHT THING! /Berman
Vampiro69 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Well I am 2 for 2 so far. That ain't saying much though.
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I'm thinking the Titans take Vince Young here.
2GOLD Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Apparently Deuce had surgery so maybe this ends up being a good deal. Or they will trade Duece, in which case the Saints deserve a punch in the face.
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 From the way the ESPN crew is talking you'd think Reggie Bush was going to single handedly rebuild the city of New Orleans.
Vampiro69 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I have Young going to the Titans with this pick.
Hawk 34 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Hey, ESPN. How about you talk about Leinert and Young instead of Bush, just for a moment.
Damaramu Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Bush has never played an NFL down. These guys talk like he's the NFL's all-time leading rusher.
Cuban Linx Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I'd be very surprised to see them take Young after the mess with McNair.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Why are JETS fans always more into the draft then Giants fans? Because it's all they have to look forward to and they know it?
teke184 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 OT: MI3 looks like it's going to be a disaster... Tom Cruise is off his fucking rocker to begin with and I don't tend to put "Phillip Seymour Hoffman" and "action film" in the same sentence.
naiwf Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Why are JETS fans always more into the draft then Giants fans? Because the Jets (like the Mets) are second class citizens in the area. They play in Giants Stadium, and generally they suck, so they get higher picks more often than the Giants too. As a Giants fan, it'll be 4 or 5 hours before my team picks this year, while the Jets fans have been looking forward to the draft since week 4 or 5. It's like Christmas for them.
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 OT: MI3 looks like it's going to be a disaster... Tom Cruise is off his fucking rocker to begin with and I don't tend to put "Phillip Seymour Hoffman" and "action film" in the same sentence. I whole heartedly agree. I look at Hoffman and see the annoying fuck from Red Dragon, not some evil genius.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I really hope they just take Leinart so we can get the USC love over with already.
Damaramu Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 "We're doing everything we can to bring a championship to New Orleans!" Yeah fucking right. You can't do that alone little man.
teke184 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Titans up... Young is now on Tennessee time.
Guest Smues Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 No surprise there. Now the question is who drafts Leinart.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Matt Leinart just had an urgent need to go to the bathroom.
Damaramu Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Will Kiper's head explode since he touted Leinart so high over Young?
Hawk 34 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 OT: MI3 looks like it's going to be a disaster... I look at Hoffman and see the annoying fuck from Red Dragon, not some evil genius. I see Hoffman, as one of the best actors of this generation who has an excellent catalouge of performences. However, he isn't the first I think of for evil villian. I perfer him in the dramatic conflicted roles because he is great at it. I mean seriously, his track record speaks for itself. ON-TOPIC Young goes to Tennessee.
