Hunter's Torn Quad Posted May 6, 2006 Report Posted May 6, 2006 --Smackdown ratings continue to fall as last night's show was down to a 2.3 on the fast nationals, falling to where it now is only beating WB. Ouch!

Ouch! How low were Thunder's ratings in the dying days of WCW? I don't see Smackdown lasting too much longer as a show if it keeps on pulling those kind of ratings in.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted May 7, 2006 Report Posted May 7, 2006 Keep in mind that Turner owned both the wrestling company AND the TV station ir aired on in its dying days.
claydude14 Posted May 7, 2006 Report Posted May 7, 2006 I loved Benoit/Finlay. The beginning was a bit slow but it worked into the match, I love how Finlay fought EVERYTHING Benoit threw at him, including trying to elbow out of the Germans.

Generally just below a 2.0 if I remember correctly.
Guest Montresor Posted May 7, 2006 Report Posted May 7, 2006 Benoit–Finlay was superb; I might order the PPV just to see it again.
Downhome Posted May 7, 2006 Report Posted May 7, 2006 I love how Finlay fought EVERYTHING Benoit threw at him, including trying to elbow out of the Germans. I loved that also. We don't see nearly enough of that sort of thing in American wrestling.

HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted May 7, 2006 Report Posted May 7, 2006 I like how Burchill's undefeated streak and the debut of his new valet ends with a powerslam from Road Warrior Animal. Seriously, what the fuck?
benn Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 I like how Burchill's undefeated streak and the debut of his new valet ends with a powerslam from Road Warrior Animal. Seriously, what the fuck? I actually thought he must have been injured at first and just not been able to kick out of the pin. It was such a weird result.
