Paul Stanley Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 The standard version box of the artwork sucked on S7
The Amazing Rando Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 You Only Move Twice! The Mysterious Voyage of Homer! The Secret War of Lisa Simpson! Hurricane Neddy! POOOOOCHIE!! Can't wait.
Vampiro69 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 I can't wait for Hurricane Neddy. That is a great show.
CBright7831 Posted May 13, 2006 Author Report Posted May 13, 2006 This season may be the last one that I buy. I may buy nine because it has a few good episodes. Favorite episodes for this season: You Only Move Twice Hurricane Neddy The Springfield Files The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show Homer's Enemy The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase
the max Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Definitely the last one I buy. The only redeeming thing for S9 is 'The Cartridge Family". S8 has goodness in it though: Bart After Dark; A Milhouse Divided (Can I Borrow A Feeling?); Homer v. The Eighteenth Amendment (I've seen this episode about 250 times in syndication, but it's still great); and a few others.
Failed Bridge Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 they should have gotten Bret Hart to do commentary for The Old Man and The Lisa best episode of Season 9 is Homer vs The City of New York. Homer running away from the pimp in his flashback is one of those special scenes.
CBright7831 Posted May 16, 2006 Author Report Posted May 16, 2006 they should have gotten Bret Hart to do commentary for The Old Man and The Lisa I remember WWF Magazine making it out like Bret was going to be featured in the entire episode, then he has a 10-second cameo and that was that.
Placebo Effect Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 they should have gotten Bret Hart to do commentary for The Old Man and The Lisa I remember WWF Magazine making it out like Bret was going to be featured in the entire episode, then he has a 10-second cameo and that was that. It barely sounded like him to boot. And the punchline to his joke was terrible.
Karnage Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 He was in the episode a little longer but the other scene Bret was in got cut out from syndication.
