My favorite Miracles song would actually be "Tracks of My Tears" probably, which is pretty much a song about exactly the same thing. i'm disgustingly lukewarm toward "tracks of my tears," though i know everyone else on the planet loves it. there's just something really stirring and yearning about "tears of a clown" that still seems joyful at the same time. can't really put my finger on it. "who's loving you" is also excellent. far better than the jackson 5 version; doesn't have that orgy of syrupy strings, and michael didn't really have the mature chops to sing it well. Still preferable to the time I worked in a grocery store, where every ten minutes you'd hear "Hi, this is Smokey Robinson. Try my Down Home Pot Roast frozen entree, available in the frozen food aisle." Other selections on the muzak loop included "Every Breath You Take", "Pictures of You", "Wicked Game". Fun fact about the song I learned from an interview with the singer of Asia; guy actually claims "And now you find yourself in '82" isn't a reference to the year the song was released. Yeah, nice try to make your song look like it's not outdated. And I like about three of the songs (Including "Heat of The Moment" which is actually borderline Top 10 for me) on that Top 10 and can tolerate about three or four more.
