Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2006 Considering how Kentucky was embarrassed in the SEC Tournament I'm very surprised they got to host a regional.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2006 I just can't get into college baseball. When OU hosted a regional 2 years ago I went and I just didn't have as much fun as I would've at a major league game. But OU's hosting another regional this year so I may give it a shot. Mik 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2006 Well - if it's the first round you won't get the chance but otherwise... if you get the chance to see UNC you should go. Andrew Miller will be the #1 pick in the draft and his teammate Daniel Bard should also go in the top half of the first round. Two excellent pitchers. EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2006 I'm bumping this thread for the Super Regionals. ESPN is airing games tonight. On the scroll, they listed some factoids for both UNC and Alabama. One of Alabama's alumni is Joe Sewell, who "played with Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth from 1931-33). The man's a Hall of Famer! He did more in his career than have famous teammates. Bored 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2006 God these Alabama fans are annoying yelling "balk" every time the North Carolina pitcher makes a move to first just because the Alabama pitcher got called on a clear balk the previous inning. I had no rooting interest in the game but the crowd now has me rooting for the Heels.
