Maztinho 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2006 Her ex-husband's name is Ex? That's kind of a boss name if you think about it. Hi, I'm Ex Smith. Nice to meet you. That would kick ass.
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2006 And now an update from crazyville... The two women I'm working with can't fucking stand each other. The bi-polar girl can't get her shit together and is totally disorganized. The other one is so resentful of the bi-polar girl she's a bitch to her at every opportunity. So, of course, the two are trying to play me against the other. Bitches be trippin'. 2 1/2 weeks to go!

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2006 Today one of the professors told us if we didn't start working together more our grades would start suffering. Cuz that's fair.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2006 College professors are rarely fair while doing group projects. Mostly they are a bunch of assholes that like to asign busy work for the summer because they don't want to teach.

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2006 The two got into a fight again (temper tantrum might also be a good description) after school today and I stormed out of the room yelling that I was sick of both of them.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 My advice is to tell them about the Benjimans and it will all be cool. Then hit them with a pillowcase full of doorknobs, that will tell them to get their shit together.
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2006 My personal self-destruction continues. I missed the deadline for sending in my application for graduation because (a) I didn't have the form and (b) nobody would fucking tell me when the deadline was. Let me just skip to the fucking good part, and let you fill in the rest with your imaginations... ACTUAL E-MAIL I JUST SENT ONE OF MY PROFESSORS (the names have been changed to protect the guilty): Dr. Schroeder, It is my own fault for not trying to find out to application deadline sooner, but that doesn't excuse the hassle I had to go through to finally get it. With all due respect, I think I have a suggestion that might help everyone out. I believe there are enough Sp. Education majors to warrant either a mailed, e-mailed, or Blackboard bulletin sent out once a semester with a listing of important upcoming dates and events on it. I have had a very difficult time getting necessary information from the university for the entire 3 years I've been a student here. In addition to my recurring problems with the university website, I've been forced to rely on word-of-mouth from other students to find out important information because no one in your office ever bothers to notify me about anything. When you talk about "special education events," I really have no idea what you mean. I don't know what "notices posted" means either. If you're referring to one of the half-dozen bulletin boards in the Education building littered with part-time jobs, tutoring opportunities, and roommates, I honestly don't pay attention to them. It never occurred to me that a state-funded college with a multi-million dollar budget (to which I've contributed quite a few thousand dollars to in the last 3 years) would distribute information of this importance in the same method as a neighborhood garage sale. Even when I e-mail and ask a specific question, it takes multiple e-mails before I get a complete answer. Most of the time, I'm given half and answer and have to go digging for the rest. Like this e-mail, for example. I think I asked a pretty specific question, and the answer I got back was, "Your questions are best asked of Janis Smittle." Since you didn't give me any contact information for her, I now have to spend 10-20 minutes finding the web page with the staff e-mail directory on it, which (for some reason) isn't even linked to the e-mail exchange web page. Last summer, it took 4 e-mails before I was told the dates for practicum, and was only told "early September" (instead of an actual date) in the 3rd e-mail I exchanged on the subject. To further illustrate my point about how unreliable the university web page is, a year ago I e-mailed the webmaster to ask if there was anywhere on the site that gave basic information about campus dates. He sent back this link: http://web1.umkc.edu/registrar/acal.asp. This link goes nowhere. Thank you for your time. First of all, if there was any doubt, this pretty much confirms that I can be just a big an asshole in real life as I am when I post here. Second, this is my last semester anyways. Fuck 'em.
