Tarzan Goto and Masatunga from IWA. Both guys were perfect for ECW but really looked out of place as the fans didn't know what to think.

Crash the Terminator aka Hugh Morris.

Post WCW pre Mexicools Psicosis. He really wasn't on his a game during this run.

Super Calo

Big Val Puccio

Sherri martell

Wildman Sal Ballomo.

How about...the Bushwhackers? Anyone else remember that appearance?

I believe they were a hardcore type tag team called The Sheepherders before entering the WWE. I haven't seen much of their work before then, but appearing by some pictures I've seen, they can do some nasty blade jobs. Maybe their past reputation as brawlers got them into ECW.

Did anyone here acually see the Sheepherders in their heyday? They have a reputation on the net as being these blood-thirsty hardcore brawlers that were sanitized by McMahon, but a poster over at Wrestlingclassics said this was all a myth and that they weren't a whole lot different in their pre-WWF days.

They were basically brawling heels. I don't think they were ever as hardcore as some people on the 'net made them out to be. They acted a lot like they did in WWF, but in a more heelish way, without being so "fun" and "kid friendly". Kind of picture a New Zealand hickish "outback" version of the Nasty Boys, and you have the Sheepherders.

it was only a one-shot appearance, in Florida, i believe. they came in as Dudley "cousins", from "Down Under Dudleyville", wearing the tie-dye and glasses. they didn't really do anything but march around the ring and were booed unmercilessly by the crowd. they may have interfered in the match, which i think was the Dudleys vs. Sandman/Dreamer, i don't remember.

I have the tape

It was in 94, back in the day of No zooms only same view.

Tazmaniac & Kevin Sullivan vs Pat Tanaka & The Shiek

Austin always seemed weird to me, because I basically saw no wrestling between about '92-3 and 2000. So I saw him as Stunning Steve the TV Champion in WCW, and then came in during the decline of Stone Cold in WWF/E. When I found out he'd been in ECW for a bit I just went "...eh?"

From what I've seen, The Sheepherders looked awesome. What's available of their matches with the Fantastics appear to be near classics, Meltz claims one to be ***** from a live viewing but the match has never been made available in full. I doubt they ever had one that great but the highlights are impressive. Excellent brawlers, some weapon use, good bumping oddly enough, and a great deal of blood.
