Best match you saw in person

Recommended Posts

Tough call for me considering I've seen a lot of great ROH matches the last four years.

Best WWF/E match I saw live has to be the first Edge/Christian-Hardyz ladder match at No Mercy 1999. I'm still in awe of that one when I watch the tape.

Overall? I love Samoa Joe-CM Punk I, plus I have to give Homicide-AJ Styles from The Battle Lines are Drawn a mention, as both were absolutely fantastic.

Total agreement here. Everyone knew they were watching something very special and also applauded for every big bump, which was rare for a WWF/WCW crowd at the time.

Danielson - Strong II and III

Blood Generation - Do Fixer

Liger + Joe vs Danielson + Low-Ki

The only shows I've been to in the last 13 years are ROH, so that narrows it down a bit.

Austin-Angle on Raw, October 2001 or Yung Dragons vs. Knoble/Karagias at WCW Sin. I haven't seen the latter in years so its hard to remember which was better now.

I'm interested. Was Charlie Haas able to keep up with these guys and actually add something to the match, or did he take away from it?

He didn't look out of place in the match and did quite a bit of 'non-wwe' stuff, not a stand out performance, but he certainly kept up with them....
