JHawk Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Tough call for me considering I've seen a lot of great ROH matches the last four years. Best WWF/E match I saw live has to be the first Edge/Christian-Hardyz ladder match at No Mercy 1999. I'm still in awe of that one when I watch the tape. Overall? I love Samoa Joe-CM Punk I, plus I have to give Homicide-AJ Styles from The Battle Lines are Drawn a mention, as both were absolutely fantastic.

Everyone knew they were watching something very special and also applauded for every big bump, which was rare for a WWF/WCW crowd at the time.
Guest SoZe Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Danielson - Strong II and III Blood Generation - Do Fixer Liger + Joe vs Danielson + Low-Ki The only shows I've been to in the last 13 years are ROH, so that narrows it down a bit.
BorneAgain Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Austin-Angle on Raw, October 2001 or Yung Dragons vs. Knoble/Karagias at WCW Sin. I haven't seen the latter in years so its hard to remember which was better now.
Guest jm29195 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Having only attended shows in England since 2004 the best matches I have seen are: - Randy Orton v. Shelton Benjamin 2/3 falls (NEC May 2004) Shawn Michaels v. Ric Flair (NEC 2004) William Regal/Eugene v. La Resistance (Just for the crowd) (RAW, MEN, October 2004) CM Punk v. Samoa Joe (TWC Showdown, March 2005) Mitsuhara Misawa/Yoshinari Ogawa/Tiger Emperor v Doug Williams/Scorpio/James Tighe (TWC Showdown, March 2005) AJ Styles v. Christopher Daniels (TWC Showdown, March 2005) Batista v. Christian (Just for the crowd!) (RAW, NEC April 2005) Spud v. Jodie Fleisch (FWA, Enfield, June 2005) Low Ki v. Homicide (Universal Uproar, November 2005) Colt Cabana v. Nigel Mcgiuness (Universal Uproar, November 2005) Kenta Kobashi/Go Shiozaki v. Doug Williams/Jun Akiyama (Universal Uproar, November 2005) Samoa Joe v. AJ Styles v. Chris Daniels v. Charlie Haas (1PW, Doncaster, January 2006) Doug Williams v. Harry Smith (1PW, Doncaster, January 2006)
Mecha Mummy Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Either Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho from Wrestlemania XIX or Samoa Joe vs. Kenta Kobashi.
NYU Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Samoa Joe v. AJ Styles v. Chris Daniels v. Charlie Haas (1PW, Doncaster, January 2006) I'm interested. Was Charlie Haas able to keep up with these guys and actually add something to the match, or did he take away from it?

He didn't look out of place in the match and did quite a bit of 'non-wwe' stuff, not a stand out performance, but he certainly kept up with them....
