Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 So I'm gonna be chillin' up here at Georgetown University for the next month. This city is pretty exciting for a politico like me. Already had some fun times, including: -Saw the wrestler "Batista" at National Airport. Freaking monster. Probably the biggest dude I've ever seen. -My cab driver from the airport to the college was this hilarious African guy who was a hardcore rightwing Republican. He had Bush stickers all over his cab. He immediately started in on how much he hated liberals and how stupid they were so I was just like, "yeah, liberals suck," and he was really nice to me. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be meeting Senators Kennedy and Cornyn and Justice Stephen Breyer, so I'll keep you updated. Maybe me and Ted can get drunk and go drive around~! A girl can dream...
Slayer Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Are you going to try and meet up with any of the numerous posters residing in the Beltway?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Senators Kennedy and Cornyn and Justice Stephen Breyer... If I gave you some anthrax to carry around, would you also make a stop at Hitlery's office?
Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 25, 2006 Author Report Posted June 25, 2006 Are you going to try and meet up with any of the numerous posters residing in the Beltway? The only poster that I know of in DC is the board's resident economist/love doctor. So no.

Cran Da Maniac Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Vyce, Marney, Tom, Eric and Slap... well, Vyce, Marney, Tom and Eric are all up there And Steven Popick, too *cough*
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Will you be greeting Senator Kennedy by saying: MISTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTER KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENEDDDY! ? If not, well, I got nothing.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 26, 2006 Author Report Posted June 26, 2006 Senators Kennedy and Cornyn and Justice Stephen Breyer... If I gave you some anthrax to carry around, would you also make a stop at Hitlery's office? I froze, etc.
Slayer Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Speaking of Slappy and freezing, Fridge lives there now too.
EricMM Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Welcome to the downpour, bigolsmitty. Go see the zoo. Tai Shan is soooo cuuuute!
Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 26, 2006 Author Report Posted June 26, 2006 Welcome to the downpour, bigolsmitty. Go see the zoo. Tai Shan is soooo cuuuute! I got stranded in the deluge last night while I was out running.
Guest Felonies! Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Speaking of Slappy and freezing, Fridge lives there now too. I thought Fridge was out by Richmond, or somewhere in Virginia that wasn't greater DC. He needs to post more, wherever he is.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 I live in Arlington now, so I'm one of those kids, I guess. Fucking metro was awful today. The worst thing about a metro delay is that there are always a few people who complain, very loudly, not realizing that the other 90% of the people on the train were doing just fine until they start jabbering. Once I got enough room to lift my arms and put on my headphones, I did manage to listen to the entirety of the Wrens' Secaucus on the way in, so there was a slight silver lining.
Guest Felonies! Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 I was gonna download a Wrens album to supplement my meagre collection of just one song, viz. "This Boy Is Exhausted," but I never get around to it. I found Lou Reed's Take No Prisoners instead. So this is what a nadir sounds like!
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Senators Kennedy and Cornyn and Justice Stephen Breyer... If I gave you some anthrax to carry around, would you also make a stop at Hitlery's office? I froze, etc. You don't like anthrax? How about some pantera then? Any loud music to distract them from plotting their one-world-government plans would be fine with me. You thought I meant that other anthrax which kills people? Why, that would be wrong, not to mention a clear violation of forum rules.
Guest Vitamin X Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Y'know, now that I think of it, the trend of the board cliche died along with Clichebot, which was supposed to be a joke. But you never see that anymore. Seeing the "I froze when.." fad again up there reminded me.

Do you still not have a proper copy of Secaucus? I'll sell you mine for 90 bucks. Consider that an Internet Friend discount.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 lol, "forum rules" You mock law and order?
Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 27, 2006 Author Report Posted June 27, 2006 Met Stephen Breyer today. He was really nice. Reminded me of a friend's dad or smart uncle or something.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 He reminds me of someone who I would like to get a brick and smash it upside of his head. But he wouldn't die from the assault. Because that would be wrong.
Toshiaki Koala Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Go see the zoo. Tai Shan is soooo cuuuute! ^ Only post in this thread that's not hopelessly retarded.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 28, 2006 Report Posted June 28, 2006 Which of course means your post is riding the short bus with the rest of us. And get you bicycle helmet out of my face. And you do realize that in my last post I was talking about Smitty and not the Communist judge, right?
Big Ol' Smitty Posted June 28, 2006 Author Report Posted June 28, 2006 And get you bicycle helmet out of my face Get you bad posts out of my thread.
