I was surprised Tito didn't put in whoever would've been scheduled to start tomorrow if it weren't for the All-Star break. He'd have to be better than Rudy Seanez.

 

 

Especially with the Yankees already losing earlier in the day. Boston could have/should have gained another game on them.

I chose the better of the two for me and listened to the game on XM with the White Sox feed. PBP guy had an orgasm.

That is why it's not gonna happen for the Astros this year. Last year, the whole pitching staff was lights out and all those no-name guys in the pen were more than dependable.

 

This year...not so much.

Yeah...I hated "It's On". It was too damn easy to make dumb "It's Off" jokes after their shitty start.

 

Well, at least Willy T.'s hitting over .300 with RISP...so says Joe Morgan.

 

I was about to make a joking post about how Roy Oswalt comes in as a pinch hitter and gets a double, but apparently, he forgot to touch first base. Fuck.

Edit#6:...I think the All-Star Break will do the Astros some good. We're less games back this season than we were last season at the break, at least.

It's official, TBS will start televising Division Series games in 2007 but the new twist is that they'll start televising non-Braves regular season games in 2008. That part I'm actually excited about as MLB desperately needs another cable partner with their new scaled back deal with ESPN.

As long as it doesn't affect the Braves being broadcast on TBS I'm all for it. I wonder what announce crew they'll have for the non Braves games.
