the max 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2006 You'll have to buy MLB Extra Innings. It's worth the money. I've bought it for the last three seasons. The only thing that sucks is when there are other games on that aren't covered by a national broadcast, they are unavailable. (Ex: FOX has three matchups...say, Mets v. Reds; Indians v. Red Sox; Braves @ Florida...just hypothetically. I will automatically get the Braves v. Marlins, but if want to watch Indians v. Red Sox, I'm fucked.) It's a great thing for watching baseball though. Guest Report post Posted July 12, 2006 All of those packages for each sport are well worth it. I like listening to the opposing team's broadcasters talking about your team when they aren't on TV here, which usually only happens with the NHL.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2006 I've been debating on Extra Innings since I'm getting digital cable soon. The problem is I already get the Mets, Yankees and Phillies with my current cable package, and the price is awfully steep (plus, the Pirates would be blacked out). I'm fairly content with my XM Radio package, which runs $13/month and I can listen to in my car.
treble 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2006 I think (I read this on wikipedia a while back, so it may not be true anymore, if it ever was) that Canadian cable companies carry WTBS, as opposed to the TBS superstation, so they'd probably show the 45 or whatever Braves games that they're still carrying. I just hope TBS doesn't just show all the same teams that Fox and ESPN do.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2006 I had Extra Innings in 2004. It was terrific. Then I switched TV providers and my new company doesn't carry Extra Innings. I was sad.

But I really want to move to the Atlanta area now, I can't live without the Braves
