The Amazing Rando Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 It's the Spirited Little Bastards!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Well that was an infinite waste of time.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Shane was peaking out, the ref was in his way, so they slowly changed positions, and then the referee chased after Triple H to "scold" him for NO REASON because they fucked up the "Shane taunts Triple H" spot. So with the ref scolding Triple H, Shawn was free to be illegally choked and setup for the elbow.
Downhome Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 They really love to fuck people over in their home town don't they...
Guest InuYasha Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 5 on 2? No problem. 6 on 2? Total ass kicking.
The Amazing Rando Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 DX finally beat down ...in Shawn's hometown no less...
Gary Floyd Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 It's about time, though the shitty main event was not worth it.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 I was expecting the Highlanders to come out.. I guess we couldn't actually have something that would actually make sense..
JustJoe2k5 Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 So, will Vince McMahon finally give up on the Spirit Squad?
Downhome Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 I guess we should wait until the show goes off to really speak out on it. Once again, DX gets the upperhand. This booking continues to confuse me.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 The worst year ever in wrestling continues as old men conquer old men.

CBright7831 Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 I'm ready for this feud to be over, but then again, we'll get HHH/Orton, and I don't want that either.
JustJoe2k5 Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 The worst year ever in wrestling continues as old men conquer old men. I would still take this over '03.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Just close this thread, there's nothing redeeming to talk about and we're just gonna end up bashing the show like we've done for the past 5 years. DX Sucks. The McMahon show is awful. Divas are boring. Women's wrestling is awful. Nitro isn't over. Flair and Foley are old. There, saves 4 pages.
Downhome Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 So, will Vince McMahon finally give up on the Spirit Squad? I call for an angle where Vince takes all five members of the SS to a crazy mad scientist to get them morphed into a single super-wrestler. Give the gimmick to a hoss that they haven't had debut yet, and have him wear half ripped SS get up.
JimmyHendricks Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 You'd think Vince would stop relying on the Spirit Squad to destroy DX. Ugh, it's 1998-99 all over again, and DX is Austin. Who cares. I don't.
Gary Floyd Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 To think, it all started with one of the worst feuds of the year in Shawn vs. Vince, which still makes no sense to me.
Guest InuYasha Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 So, will Vince McMahon finally give up on the Spirit Squad? Vince: You've failed me for the 14th time, damnit. SS: We're sorry, Mr. McMahon. Vince: Now get out there, and don't fail me again.

Hawk 34 Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 The worst year ever in wrestling continues as old men conquer old men. Outside of WWE, 2006 has been fantastic.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 One thing: I think Umaga will be the WWE Champion in 2007, possibly late 2006. I got a real Yokozuna vibe from him tonight, but with a better work ethic.

Vince can use that Oleg guy. "I'm Peppy. You won't like me if I'm full of PEP!"
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Worst year in WWE history, Hawk, my bad. "Fantastic" is a stretch, though. Aisde from ROH/CZW war which was amazing, PWG has been great as always. TNA on TV has been the shits, the TNA PPVs have been ok to very good, and Japan has been the shits.
