Action figure question

Recommended Posts

I just got my hands on a Road To Wrestlemania Series 1 Shawn Michaels, but the thing is, he's dressed up as Hulk Hogan, complete with bleached hair and mustache, from his feud with Hogan leading up to Summerslam '05. At the store, all the other Shawns were in his black & white ring gear that he wore at the show.

I'm wondering, did I just find a rare figure or what?

It was only placed in 1 case per shipment, so it is pretty rare. It hasn't been around all that long, so the value is still pretty dormant. You should check Ebay (as there can be some RIDICULOUS sales going on there). Sometimes people get A LOT of money for a semi-rare figure.

Yeah that sounds like a chase figure. In years to come, it will be worth money.

Incidentally, anyone see the Legends Series that includes a replica ticket from each Wrestlemania that you can collect all of, to redeem for a "Never Before Released" figure?

Anyone know whom?

The fucked up part is that I'm one of the few that would even want a Mr. America figure (loved that angle) but there's no way in hell I'd buy all those complete classic series sets to get all the tickets.

I haven't followed these figures or WWE in a while, but didn't Shawn dress up as Hulk during their feud last summer? I'm pretty sure this is what the figure is representing and isn't rare at all.

I've read it's Mr. America... seriously.

I wonder if I can play a prejudice card by pointing out that there's no Mountie action figure.

Supposedly Mountie will appear in CS 13. According to some dealer at the wrestling figs board here are the next two sets.

CS12:

2x Ultimate Warrior

2x Dean Malenko

2x Arn Anderson

1x Handsome Jimmy Valient

1x Steve Lombardi - "Brooklyn Brawler"

1x Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs

1x Nasty Boy Jerry Sags

1x Captain Lou Albano

1x Killer Kowalski

CS13

Rick Rude (2)

Mr. Perfect 2nd Version (2)

Bret Hart (1)

Al Snow w/ Head (1)

Bad News Brown (1)

Brother Love (1)

Droz (1)

Dusty Rhodes Newer Version (1)

The Mountie (1)

Luna Vachon (1 out of 2 cases)

Ernie Ladd (1 out of 2 cases)

Awesome.

And "Big Cat" Ernie Ladd is getting an action figure?

Well, I'll be damned.
