RedJed 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2006 Terkay is overrated. He missed a so called knock out punch on that jobber by about five inches. His submissions aren't really anything special either. He is the modern day version of Hercules Hernadez thrown in with a bit of technical ability and a fight background. Agreed, but one thing they could have/should have done to really push upon his MMA background was throw him in ECW. He could have great stiffer matches w/ Angle, Punk, etc, and THAT could showcase his ability a bit more. Plus I think Heyman would have given him a little more character and such. Unless Terkay has the Khali effect and they are scared of showing him on live TV with some of those errant punches? Regarding Smackdown right now, everything isnt bad at all, especially considering the talent pool being thin, but one thing I really am not feeling one bit is this Chavo/Rey angle. Rey very well may be unintentionally heeled here for the simple fact that they are portraying the Rey character as pushing the "This is for Eddie" issue so much, too much almost, when the fact is it was the company itself who was doing it, and they are just continuing to prey upon the issue by just not moving on via this feud. I think its heartless and downright messed up Chavo and/or Vicki should have to do this (do they really, though?) on camera, too. Its like before they roll, does Kevin Dunn or Vince hand them a script or what?!! I mean think about how fucked up that is if you were any of the three involved in this storyline basically. They should just refuse to do it as its going to bury Rey and Chavo doing it just as much as it would not doing it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The Diva Search segment was a train wreck of epic proportions. JBL saying he'd pay money to watch the leprechauns under the ring copulate was fucking GOLD. I think he used to be known as Antonio Banks. Anyone seen his work before? Check the DSW thread in Other Promotions. I've uploaded a couple of tag matches he's been in.
