chirs3 Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Seriously - I leave, and the freaking Birdman returns?! Too awesome. All but Blankira are accounted for at the moment, and I have good reason to believe it shall be accounted for... soon... And a real insert generic Jim Ross term here of a Main Event. Yeehaw! Card under construction. Be up soon.
Bruce Blank Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 I know I sent in my match to Evo, so time will tell I suppose.
Smartly Pretty Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 same in the heez, after double extensioson.
Bruce Blank Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 PFFFFFFFFF I don't need no steeenkin' double extension but that could be why it's not been passed on yet to be put on the show.
Toxxic Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 At the moment all I'm saying is OH MY FUCKING GOD BLOODY HELL. Plus Nemesis continues to bring awesomeness.
Bruce Blank Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 And now onto the show (minus one match) Johnson brings the stiffness Nemesis brings the funny French bashing Birdman brings the highspeed action Jimmy the Doom brings the "well it's better than a no show" No one seems to bring anything for Bruce/Akira and finally Stephens/Maddix brings the top notch main event I was hoping it'd be (complete with hilarious Team Canada entrance) Yup that'll do it.
JJ Johnson Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 The proper term, Bruce, is 'Johnson brings the suck', as Johnson has since April, or potentially since January. I'd like to apologize to everyone for my match quality this calendar year, which has been either A) Low, or B) Non-existent, either in that it was the drizzling shits or I simply didn't turn something in, which has happened with alarming frequency. Basically, I'm being a slacker in a time in the fed where slackers are not at all in short supply, and I really am sorry about that. I'll try to help it, if I can. Shit, I might even comment later, since feedback is good for keeping those who do write writing.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Hey now, I'd at least like to think that you didn't bring the suck in May; I certainly thought the match I wrote that lost to yours for the IN belt was pretty decent...
JJ Johnson Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Well, I must admit I forgot about that; that and the Tag Title Match that I wrote I both thought were good, and are easily bright spots of this otherwise dismal year. The match against Landon would be another, if not for the whole 'it lost' thing, as I was also proud of that one.
Toxxic Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Well, Dub-Cee's obviously a slacker. He's gone on this kooky 50-day 'suspension' gig, which seems a daft thing to do with Genesis around the corner.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Come to think of it, G-VII is technically only forty-nine days after Ground Zero... Huh. I guess I'll just have to think of some way to get Dub Cee unsuspended before then, now won't I?
Toxxic Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 No-one would notice anyway if you just showed up and wrestled. Not because you wouldn't make an important contribution to the card, but because SWF continuity is only slightly better than the WWE. Besides, maybe we lost a couple of days in the changover from the Fictional Tour at the Gund to our own universe. That could explain it.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Well, I'll keep that on the back burner in case what I'm working on doesn't pan out...
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Do what I did with Spike. Have the suspension start the day before so Genesis can be Day 50! I'm so smart.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 And what, have MVS be booked against QMM at Genesis? That's not bad, but it's a little low on subtlety... I mean, I've been known to use the "Sledgehammer of Plot" from time to time, but there have to be some boundaries, right? I don't think that I've ever flat-out given a story away, no matter how obvious it might be to everybody... and I think I'd like to keep it that way, or try to at least.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 I'm sorry, what? I'm jerking off thinking about how awesome I am.
chirs3 Posted August 16, 2006 Author Report Posted August 16, 2006 Blank vs. Akira to be edited in in FIVE... FOUR... THREE... TWO... ONE... GO GO GO!
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Damn that Heff for being a big stupid jerk and stuff! But, hey, I wonz0rs, which means that Jay Hawke is dead, lollerz. That 'match' was such a rush job, I didn't even have time to throw in the commercial break I was going to put in the middle and stuff.
Guest El XL Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 I wasn't sure if the French jokes were too over the top or not but it seems to have worked out and now promises of something special. That's not code for an extended job run right? right?? Listen guys I'm really new to this and well I'm just kinda winging it without a clue if I'm doing good or not, I think I'm only beating guys that aren't showing so far, I'd appriciate some feedback on my matches in general if anyone has anything to say? And in closing, the two matches that closed the show? super entertainment, just super.
Bruce Blank Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 THE STREAK CONTINUES!! - LOL since my match is the only new addition I'll leave it at that It didn't take you long to think of some matches that were more than just "the suck" as you called it. The match with Manson was solid, sound if a bit unspectacular but then again there wasn't that much backstory and emotion to bring into it with it opening the show and all It doesn't help that you've twice left JJJ behind like a smelly step-child and come up with two generic characters to replace him. Johnson is much more unique than either of those.
Toxxic Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 He has? Who else has he used except Staunton?
Bruce Blank Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Well he signed up as "Rush" Hadrian, but to say that he used him may be a bit of a overstatement (it was during the tag-team tournament)
JHawk Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 What annoys me about being "dead" is I had intros and stuff written before I got called into work on such short notice that I couldn't so much as request an extension. *sigh* Oh well.
Toxxic Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Christ, yeah. I'd forgotten Rush "I sound like a gay pornstar" Hadrian. Now I wish I hadn't remembered.
Smartly Pretty Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 JJ Johnson Jace The Ace something or other Kerry Staunton Alan Clark Markus Brodeur Kerry...Kennison, I want to say? Rush Hadrian 7 characters, one year. Four made it onto SWF tv. Had to, JJ
Toxxic Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Alan Clark's had his own bunch of characters anyway.
JJ Johnson Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Alan Fuck was easily my greatest creation.
