naiwf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Nugent misses an XP for the Jets, so it's 13-0 in what I assume is the sloppiest game of week 1 thus far.
NoCalMike Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Chris Simms SUCKS. The Texans D coordinator is an idiot. How do you watch game tape of the Eagles offense, and actually believe they won't be passing 70% of the time. Of course this is a team that gave up 27 points per game last season, so giving up 14 to Philly in the first half has them on track.
Hawk 34 Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I missed the first half of the day already. What's been interesting so far? Also, I don't like CBS's new look.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 The league should just say that the white jersey is the home jersey: Dolphins, Cowboys, Redskins, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Panthers, Texans. Geez.
naiwf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Ben Troupe just had one bounce off of his chest into the hands of a Jets defender. Is there a reason Volek isn't playing today? Collins has been awful and VY hasn't been seen since that hideous INT he tossed earlier. Pennington is looking solid, but there's no wind to combat in Tennessee.
KingPK Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I thought they were going to crack down on horse collar tackles because Maroney just got taken down by one and no call.

Brian Westbrook goes 30 yards for the TD off a 5 yard dumpoff pass.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Is there a reason Volek isn't playing today? Volek's in the doghouse. TEN is trying to dump him for whatever.
naiwf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 As of right now 8 of the 9 road teams are winning. 3 home teams are being shut out, 3 others have a measly FG to their credit. The Rams are the only home team ahead at the moment.
KingPK Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Beautiful catch by Faulk for the TD. The offense has awoken. 17-14. The Pats also have 130 yards rushing between Maroney (57), Dillon (50), Faulk (20) and Brady (3). Encouraging.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 The Bucs defense showed up to this game finally.. But the Ravens are now winning 20-0
naiwf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I thought they were going to crack down on horse collar tackles because Maroney just got taken down by one and no call. They just called one in the Jets game. I think it's one of those calls that gets missed most of the time.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Wow, Trent Green has been out for 5 minutes after a nasty hit during a slide. His head launched into the turf.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Bucs are probably going to score finally. bleh
jwest27 Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 The Rams are actually stopping people defensively.
JustJoe2k5 Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Panthers have really sucked thus far.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Ravens stop a 4th and 4 at the 6 and keep the shutout.
naiwf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Panthers have really sucked thus far. What did you expect when they didn't have STEVE SMITH~ in the line-up?
Guest Felonies! Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Panthers have really sucked thus far. What did you expect when they didn't have STEVE SMITH~ in the line-up? Steve Smith Steve Smith Steve Smith Steve Smith Steve Smith Steve Smith Steve Smith Steve Smith Steve Smith Oh, and what the fuck is this dancing robot during all the "NFL on Fox, brought to you by" spots? It looks like the Megazord from Power Rangers or something.
Cartman Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Nugent sucks hardcore...Hey Jets, Martin Gramatica is out there...
naiwf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Mike Nugent is now 1 for 3, with a missed XP to boot. Keep in mind, he has to play 8 games in Giants Stadium, 1 in Foxboro and 1 in Buffalo this year. Poor kid.
KingPK Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Just saw the Green hit. OUCH. Safety! THERE'S the Losman we love.
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Who? Wait a minute, who's Steve Smith? I've never heard his name before. Does he play for the Panthers? Also, I'm off in a few to watch at the sports bar what should hopefully be a hard hitting game at LAAAAAAAAMBOOOOOOOOOOW (yes I know it's spelt Lambeau) FIELD. I'm hoping Green Bay's run defense has improved enough to beat Chicago, and that rookie G Tony Moll can hold his own. I have confidence in the other rookie guard, Jason Spitz. Lots of upsets today from what I can see. Buffalo almost caused me to get knocked out of Survivor football on yahoo today. I thought New England would crush them for sure, especially at home.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Told you Buffalo would suck and lose.
Cartman Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Safety for the Pats, Losman hurting and he stinks Just saw the replay of the Trent Green hit...Ouch. Totally legit but sad to see when a QB is sliding feet first like that conceding the play.
naiwf Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Just saw the Green hit. OUCH. Ditto. Leave it to those lovable scamps the Bills to lose a game on a safety. LOL.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Good to hear Green has consciousness and is moving. That hit was really scary.
razazteca Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 David Akers gets the doink FG off the right upright.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Who? Wait a minute, who's Steve Smith? I've never heard his name before. Does he play for the Panthers?
