Open the Muggy Gate Posted September 12, 2006 Author Report Posted September 12, 2006 I never made it to Oregon. What the fuck man. How could you have never beaten that game?
Dobbs 3K Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I think I went to the only grade school in the US that didn't have "Oregon Trail".
LaParkaMarka Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I have fond memories of this game. I'd ask other kids if I could use them in the game, then immediately ford a giant river. If everyone didn't immediately drown, they would soon die from disease (dysentery!) or starvation. Good times.
tominator89 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I remember Game Day back in computer class and everyone fought for the Oregon Trail disks.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 I never made it to Oregon. What the fuck man. How could you have never beaten that game? I never did when I was younger, either. I just wanted to hunt, and watch the wagon sink. And I didn't know what stuff like ford and caulk meant. It's still a pain to beat with the farmer. You have to go cheap on one part at least, and that part always gets stolen or broken.
jwest27 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 I don't think I ever got to Oregon either. Shooting defenseless animals was too much fun, I guess.
Ced Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Loading up on ammunition, then hunting by spinning around and seeing what animals would die in the blaze of pixelated pellet fire. Good times. Was Odell Lake the one where you decided if you wanted to either eat whatever was in front of you or run like hell from it? I remember always trying to eat the otter no matter how suicidal it was.
Vampiro69 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 No Odell lake was where you were a fish in a lake and you had to avoid larger fish an also large birds from the sky.

It involves the wagon floating across the river, right?
