Damaramu Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Tie ball game and I'm shocked OU was even able to tie it up. The defense looked good on the first drive by Oregon but now watch them miss a bunch of tackles or leave an Oregon receiver wide open.
Damaramu Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 OU gets their second TD called back today and then hits a TD to take the lead. Finally!!!
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Virginia football just hit rock bottom, losing the homecoming game to Western Michigan. The defense was fantastic, but two first half interceptions yielded touchdowns, and then we made inexplicable quarterbacking decisions. I need a few drinks.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 On the bright side, at least Miami is getting raped, so the entire ACC looks shitty.
Damaramu Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Good god. OU has all the momentum and the lead then they let Oregon turn around and tie it up on 4th down. So many penalties and missed tackles...they don't deserve to win right now.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 B.J. Hill, in his third game, has almost racked up 200 yards rushing for the Badgers.
Damaramu Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 And Adrian Peterson on first down finally comes through for Oklahoma with a huge TD run to put OU back on top!
Urban Warfare Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 WTF! NUTS play in the LSU-Auburn game. I can't believe they picked the flag up. Unreal.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Damn, LSU took some stiff ref dick on that one.
2GOLD Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Yeah, that was some insanity. He was obviously getting tackled before the ball was tipped away so I don't see how that works at all. Welcome to Auburn, you wonderful Tigers you.
Carnival Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 That was the same situation, roles reversed a little earlier in the game and Auburn got the call and it took away an LSU interception. Welcome to Auburn indeed. What a screwjob.
Damaramu Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 And OU comes up with an interception and then commits a penalty. But they're inside the 15 now on 3rd down. A FG will put them up 10 at this point with about 8 minutes to go.
Art Sandusky Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 It ain't over yet, but thank goodness I'm finally getting OU/Oregon here.
2GOLD Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 The punter for Auburn just popped his jersey. Punters should NEVER be popping their jersey. EVER. In fact, that junk has got to go the way of pulling down the goal post. So LSU needs a touchdown with no timeouts with a minute left and they need to cover 80 yards. Yeah, this should go well. Especially when your quarterback can't hit wide open receivers deep.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Ditto. Miami/Louisville was over looooong ago.
Urban Warfare Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Wow, amazing drive so far by LSU, inside the Auburn 20 with 20 seconds left.
2GOLD Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Ok, WTF has happened to the Auburn defense? They have went on vacation in the secondary and LSU is just walking down the field on them. Down to about the 15 with 14 seconds left.
Damaramu Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 OU takes a 10 point lead with 6 and a half minutes left. I would've liked that touchdown for protection. Oregon's offense can strike quick and OU's defense hasn't been playing well.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 GREAT finish to Auburn/LSU.
2GOLD Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Auburn wins but man, you know that call is going to be looked at all week long as the play that gave Auburn the win. Which is a damn shame because Auburn played amazing and don't deserve to have anything taken away from them.
Carnival Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I'll tell ya what Auburn doesn't deserve. A win. That shit was handed to them.
Slayer Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 What happened with the refs? I was watching the other games
Damaramu Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Another interception when it looked like Oregon was driving! OU has forced 4 turnovers.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I hope the rest of the country gets to see BJ Hill on Sportscenter or something...he looks really good after his first three games, and had some crazy runs today.
Art Sandusky Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Whew! God I love this conference! The crazy part? The other division has a show to put on tonight as well. Poor AD. He does so much for his team.
CanadianChris Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Adrian Peterson is a beast. He's just shredding this defence now.
