OAO Unforgiven Thread - September/17th/2006.

Is it even safe to have someone go off or through the top of the cell? I mean no reason for anyone to get permantley messed up. That is quite a drop.

This from someone who saw Foley go flying off the HITC live.

From WWE.com:

In just hours, D-Generation X will clash with the McMahons and ECW World Champion Big Show at Unforgiven in a manifestation of Hell never seen before in WWE. Tonight marks the debut of a bigger, badder Hell in a Cell structure, the likes of which no WWE Superstar • including Hell in a Cell veterans, Triple H and Shawn Michaels • has ever encountered.

A full man taller than the previous Cell, the new Hell in a Cell structure stands a formidable 20 feet tall. At 3,500 square feet, the 30-by-30 apparatus is made of unforgiving steel mesh and support beams that will contain the forces of DX, the McMahons and the Extreme Giant

Perhaps the super-tall Cell is intended to make it impossible for people to even consider doing Foley-like bumps. If you tried it from 30 feet up, you'd have to be scraped up with a spatula.

And JR is right, he has called 12 of the 14 HIAC matches.

Im pretty sure the original cell was about 14 feet..so a full man taller makes the new one 20 feet..not 20 feet taller which would make it 34 feet from the ground..

Bullshit finishes in the first three matches. Nitro retained via Melina's shoe, Kane and Umaga went to a double countout, and Spirit Squad retained via interference from Johnny.

Shane had HHH in a Torture Rack, and he spun HHH around to do the neckbreaker thing, I forget what it's called. The fans started cheering for "Shane O'Mac", and JR said that HHH reversed what Shane was trying to do.
