Hollywood isn't giving us any other options. It's been a really weak month for wide release movies.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 Did the Marine come out this week? Oct. 13. It would appear that the marketing isn't that effective seeing as how you're about the 20th person here to assume that The Marine was already released.

It would appear that the marketing isn't that effective seeing as how you're about the 20th person here to assume that The Marine was already released. What marketing? Other than WWE RAW, I haven't heard a damn thing about this movie.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 So they wasted tv time on Raw and ECW for a movie that won't come out until next fucking month?
the max 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 Hollywoodland is getting its ass handed to it and it was a good film. That piece of shit The Covenant has already made more money.

Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Report post Posted September 17, 2006 The Black Dahlia was fucking fantastic, even better than Hollywoodland, which I loved.
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 The Black Dahlia was fucking fantastic, even better than Hollywoodland, which I loved. See I thought the opposite, I thought there were a lot of problems compared to Hollywoodland especially with the ending in addition to some post production items that could have made the film better. However both films killed in respect to Production Design, Costumes and Makeup.
MFer 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2006 I really joined Gridiron Gang. I saw it on Friday and was impressed with The Rock's performance. Sure there were some predictable spots, but that's the case in most movies like this. I think this film had more of an edge than some of the more recent sports flicks. All in all, I would recommend this movie to anyone.
cd213 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 So they wasted tv time on Raw and ECW for a movie that won't come out until next fucking month? Actually most movies don't have commercials played for them until about 2 weeks before they come out. Recently some films get three weeks notice, but over a month in advance is very rare. You might see a comercial here or there but they don't start getting played all the time until about 2-3 weeks before.
