snuffbox Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 So, the Steelers are the new Patriots?
strummer Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Coming off this game, there will be analysts who will inevitably claim that Bret Favre is back and that anyone who doubted him doesn't know football or the size of his heart or whatever shit. This has been going on for 7 fucking years now. Part of me wants him to retire just so the the talking heads will stop see sawing with "Favre is done" and "OMG Bret is back!!"
Cartman Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 So, the Steelers are the new Patriots? Well Ben is currently doing his best Brady impersonation on this drive... It's mostly just the Anti-Champion hate that people get for teams that win championships. Personally I just never liked them. Just like I cant stand Indy or Dallas.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 The Bears don't seem as intense as the last two weeks, plus the Vikings are a good team and better at home. Down by 1 with like ten minutes.
Hawk 34 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 So, the Steelers are the new Patriots? Well Ben is currently doing his best Brady impersonation on this drive... Driving down the field to settle for a FG? That is the early Brady. Did I just see Peyton Manning run for a TD?
Cartman Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Was posted after the first few nice plays...Nobody can actually BE Brady
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 J-E-T-S. Jets. Jets. Jets.
Cartman Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Surely you Jest. Jets will probably finish 2nd in the East this year...at 5-11
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 6-10. I wish the Bills would win.
Hawk 34 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Roethlisberger is Bradying this drive as well.
Brett Favre Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Surely you Jest. Jets will probably finish 2nd in the East this year...at 5-11 Lol, the Patriots aren't even good anymore.
snuffbox Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Goddam, Ahman Green with his tradmark fumble with the game in the bag.
Cartman Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Huh really? We'll see. People seem to forget that last year they were a horrible Brady game away from winning the Superbowl Pittsburgh got lucky when Palmer got hurt and the Pats eliminated themselves.
Hawk 34 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Pittsburgh is going to score and hit the 2pt conversion, I can feel it. Edit: Roethlisberger, after a Brady drive ends up going Culpepper on the last play.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 No, no, no. We don't want OT in this game.
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Well, thank God Kerry Collins is even worse than Culpepper. INT, looks like the Dolphins will win.
Cartman Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Ahahahaha, Losman sucks. This game should cement Buffalo into last place for the rest of the year.
naiwf Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Big Ben Favred it up on that last pass.
strummer Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Jets win. Bills had an easy third down Conversion but Parish tripped over himself three yards short
Guest East.Coast.J Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Man, Jacksonville lost a perfectly winnable game to the Colts. I'm not going to complain too much because we got a couple of really bad calls in our favor and I marked out for Peyton Manning's bootleg into the endzone. Really good game though and I've already got my tickets Jax/Indy in Jacksonville in December.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Touchdown Chicago with < 2 on the clock! Awesome. 1.53 on the clock with a 3-point lead.
Hawk 34 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 What a great first of half of football. Cincy/Pittsburgh was hard hitting and intense with great plays and crazy antics, Chicago/Minnesota was typical Chicago football (ugly) and bunch of close games throughout the nation.
snuffbox Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I wish we were getting bonus coverage of the MN-Chi finish here in Southwest Wisco.
jwest27 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Yay, I get to watch the Cardinals play. Against the Rams, no less.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Turnover on downs and the Bears win. What a game. You gotta hand it to the Vikings though, they're a hell of a team, obviously. The NFC North race is gonna be pretty interesting. Still, crucial win for Chicago to go 3-0 as they go into the NBC game against Seattle.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 At least we won't go 0-16. Now as long as Favre passes Marino in TDs (which is doable) this year, it will be worth it for him coming back.
