Now I won't have watch bandwagon fans at bars cheering for the Angels during the postseason. Detroit's the only new team in so far. Minnesota is making its fourth appearance in five years, and Oakland its fifth in seven seasons.

It's bad enough that St. Louis will either crawl into the playoffs or Houston pissing off everyone except one person by going through the backdoor into the playoffs. It'd be really bad if Cincinnati gets in because they aren't that good and would just be slammed in the playoffs anyways.

I haven't looked (not sure it's finalized), but I'm guessing the Yanks have Wright and Lidle as SP's on the PS roster. Surely they'll have Cairo playing as well.

Oh trust me, I remember. he was effective for the Yankees in 2004 during the stretch. And hell, if I'm not mistaken, he did well with the Chi-Sox last post season. He IS a big game pitcher. But I could see him being hit or miss.
