CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Soriano could've hit into the double play, though. I'd just try to get him to ground out instead of walking the bases loaded and risking tying/walkoff walks. Hard to hit into a double play with first base open. If he grounds out to the right side, the tying run comes in anyway.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 How can Frank Robinson be out of position players? Didn't he call anyone up?
Guest NYankees Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Padres just took a 2-1 lead. Come on Houston make this a .5 game race.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Padres take the lead in the 8th on a wild pitch. Incredible.
jwest27 Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Wow, I can't believe the Pirates haven't given the Astros the lead yet. Â I can believe, on the other hand, that the Cardinals gave the lead to the Padres. Motherfucker.
Guest NYankees Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Senators get the leadoff runner on. Â What are the odds that the Astors bullpen blows the game to the Pirates?
naiwf Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Pujols for MVP111!!!1 Â The Cards folding like a house of their namesake WOULD be fantastic if it didn't mean the Asstros would take their spot. If only the Reds hadn't collapsed.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Jesus, is this like the race to miss the playoffs or something?
Guest NYankees Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Pujols for MVP111!!!1Â The Cards folding like a house of their namesake WOULD be fantastic if it did mean the Asstros would take their spot. If only the Reds hadn't collapsed. Â You must really want to have the opportunity to face a redhot Astros team that is going to start Clemens, Oswalt and Pettite against a free falling Mets team.
Guest NYankees Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Phillies blow it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 In case it hasn't been mentioned yet, there's a real possiblility that the Cards would have to make up a game against the Giants Monday, and possibly have a playoff after that. Â Nats tie the game again. God DAMNIT. Â This is gonna be a long week.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 This Phillies fan is getting more coverage from ESPN than Barry Bonds.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Now THIS is risky. Astros walk Sanchez and Bay intentionally with a runner on third and two outs.

God DAMNIT.  This is gonna be a long week.   Chris Russo was talking about the makeup game today on the radio. The question is do the Giants show up and try to win the game?
Guest NYankees Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Now THIS is risky. Astros walk Sanchez and Bay intentionally with a runner on third and two outs. Â Â I wouldn't be suprised that it blows up in their faces due to the fact that Garner always makes questionable calls.
Guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Now THIS is risky. Astros walk Sanchez and Bay intentionally with a runner on third and two outs. Phil Garner is a fucking idiot. Â That play by Rollins and Utley was, well, stupid.

If only the Reds hadn't collapsed. Â Reds are just one game back of the Astros. It's still very possible that all three of those teams end up in a deadlock. Â If only Cincy won tonight, that'd really make things scary.

Guest NYankees Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Phillies with another error. Make them pay Senators!!!!
Guest Felonies! Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 What the FUCK was that?! THis is ridonkulous.
jwest27 Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Pujols for MVP111!!!1 So yeah, he just hit a 3 run homer to give the Cards the lead.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Pujols for MVP111!!!1 So yeah, he just hit a 3 run homer to give the Cards the lead. Wow. He may have just saved their season.
Spaceman Spiff Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 What a sloppy game by the Phillies.
Guest NYankees Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Pujols for MVP111!!!1 So yeah, he just hit a 3 run homer to give the Cards the lead. Â Â You failed to mention that it was with 2 outs.
Guest Paul Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Pujols aint hearin' that Astros shit.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 The Cards are truly a one-man team. I am liking how the Busch faithful are sounding more like Cubs fans these days.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 And I was about to ask if an Astros' division championship would make Berkman the MVP.
