naiwf Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 HIDEOUS pass by Ball gets picked. If VT comes back and wins this game, that play will be the turning point.
HarleyQuinn Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 The Sports Network poll found here: http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c...iv-1aa-poll.htm
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 ASU's tackling is among the softest I've ever seen.
nogoodnick Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 ASU's tackling is among the softest I've ever seen. I haven't seen a worse display of tackling since Cal played Tennessee. Rudy Carpenter is getting his ass kicked out there.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 ASU even looked better vs. Cal. This is ugly.
nogoodnick Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 The score could easily be 35-0 if Oregon hadn't had some sloppy plays and penalties in the 2nd quarter.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Oh man I could have punted the ball further than that.
naiwf Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 VT is officially getting molested now 31-13, and they just lost a fumble.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 John Tenuta's zone blitzes are really fucking up VT's protection schemes. Glennon is getting rocked and now they're getting to him on almost every other play. Looks really good for the Jackets right now. Â Also, I wish commentators would shut up about Florida bringing Tim Tebow in for certain plays. They're not creating their own controversy by using him; they're using a great athlete and giving Chris Leak a break after a 45-yard run, dumbasses. Of course, none of that means anything if UF can't get it together and pull ahead of Bama.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Add this one to the Czech file: the announce team on GT/VT were bantering and said they were making chitter chatter, so someone in the production booth put up "CHITTER CHATTER" in the spot under the score box where they normally list "OFFSIDES" or "TD GT" or something like that. Clever.
teke184 Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Florida's officially stuck it in and broke it off in Alabama during the 2nd half. Â Â Alabama's offense is officially on life-support again, just like last year once Prothro went out with an injury.
Urban Warfare Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Good win by the Gators but I'm very concerned with the injury to DeShawn Wynn, as the tailback position is in even more doubt. Should be a great game against LSU next week. I heard GameDay will be heading to Gainesville for that one.
iggymcfly Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 OK, I went to a sports bar to watch GT/VT since it wasn't on at the house, and I just want to say that Georgia Tech looks awesome right now. They should easily be in the Top 15 after the way they destroyed Virginia Tech. I'm pretty drunk too, but even though I'm not supposed to talk about gambling here, I just want to say I'm 7-2 for the day and up $1,000. Whoo! I love college football!
snuffbox Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Does anyone seriously think Iowa has any chance of beating Ohio St?
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Your weekly I-AA upset alert: Â Northern Iowa leads at Iowa St. 21-7. Â For whatever reason, many people think Iowa has a chance to win. I don't get them. Most of their reasons is that Tate will be the first good QB that OSU will face this year, and Iowa will be a tough place to play. I don't buy it. Â And I'm up about $300 the past 2 weeks, thanks to not losing. And Navy +135 coming through with flying colors today.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 You asked me. Â $100 on Navy (+135) today. Really, really, really liked them today. As did many others. Easy cash there. Â $50 on New York Jets (+6) over Buffalo last week. Â $50 on Cal (-6.5) over Arizona State last week. Â $100 on Europe (-120) in Ryder Cup. Â Upcoming bets: $50 on Ohio St. (-6) over Iowa. $20 on Vandy (-34) over Temple. $50 on Minnesota (+2) over Buffalo.
iggymcfly Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Ooh, we're counting up bets now? I love it. After winning a lot of $100 to $300 bets today, I've got $800 on Ohio State tonight at -6.5 and $500 on Michigan split between -8 and -9.5. Right now, I'm at home where I can only watch the Michigan game, but I'll be back out at the bars pretty soon.
snuffbox Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Share the cash, not the advice, please.
iggymcfly Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Share the cash, not the advice, please. Â All right. I'll match the $50 Bored puts up for the winner of the pick 'em. How's that? Of course, that really doesn't share the cash at all since I'm obviously winning the contest.
Bored Posted October 1, 2006 Author Report Posted October 1, 2006 Missed field goal by Miami keeps it a one point game against Houston.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Share the cash, not the advice, please. Â All right. I'll match the $50 Bored puts up for the winner of the pick 'em. How's that? Of course, that really doesn't share the cash at all since I'm obviously winning the contest. Who's #1 after this week.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 K, Musburger clearly bets on these games. Fire him.
iggymcfly Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Share the cash, not the advice, please. Â All right. I'll match the $50 Bored puts up for the winner of the pick 'em. How's that? Of course, that really doesn't share the cash at all since I'm obviously winning the contest. Who's #1 after this week. Â I'n guessing it should be Oregon State, but don't worry. I should be catching you in no time flat. I always have a hard time the first week, but I'll be 4-1 tonight, and I'm not going to be losing any time soon now that there are enough games to analyze.
naiwf Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Manningham just abused someone for another TD.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Musberger asleep again on that OSU TD. It's just funny now.
iggymcfly Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Fuck yeah! TD Michigan, TD Ohio State! I'm rocking and rolling tonight.
