naiwf 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 He said he can play Sunday. I think the NFL may say otherwise.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Has there been ANY debate as to whether or not the vicodin was prescribed?

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Um, there's no criminal charges for attempted suicide in Texas, for one, and he didn't break any NFL laws, so please stop pretending you're the comissioner. And wow, Terrell's publicist is the female Drew Rosenhaus. Equally annoying.

MFer 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Well so much for the reported suicide attempt. Somebody fucked up the story. Move along now, nothing to see here anymore.
Guest Report post Posted September 27, 2006 You don't think that Owens broke the substance abuse policy. I fail to see how. If he took as many pills as the police report seems to indicate, he was abusing the medications that were prescribed to him. If the police report is wrong, it's all ok. Prophet of Mike Zagurski 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 He should fire his publicist... Not cause she saved him but I think they're hiding something.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 I really don't think he'd be practicing today if he took 35 vicodin last night. The initial police report must be innacurate.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Seems like we're supposed to believe a lot of things on this police report are inaccurate. Hmm.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Sooooooo... blood tests confirming an excess of chemicals in his body? Something, ANYTHING, to prove that what has been claimed actually happened? I don't want to doubt this, but come on. Was he even supposed to be able to play on Sunday in the first place?
Guest Paul Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Due to HIPPA laws, will we ever know about the toxins in his blood? Or if he really had his stomach pumped? Because, he could've easily taken 35 pills, and had them pumped out of his body before they began to digest. Agreed with Leena. FAR too many inaccuracies. Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 27, 2006 We'll never know. And by next Monday, nobody will care either, as The Player vs. The Eagles ensues. I guess he just couldn't wait another 5 days.

Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Well so much for the reported suicide attempt. Somebody fucked up the story. Move along now, nothing to see here anymore. Actually no... There is still alot of questions regarding this. Me personally, I don't what to believe. I'm leaning towards the fact that he does have some serious personal problems he has to deal with. The guy had a very rough childhood in which he was picked on all through out High School. As an Eagles fan, I really have alot of dislike for the guy, but at the same time I can't help but feel sorry for him. But it is what it is.

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 The best thing the Eagles could no would be to say "NEXT QUESTION" anytime the stupid media asks about T.O. at practice tomorrow. Because T.O. is an absolute pathetic embrassment to the NFL and the last thing they need is to waste time discussing that waste of life. I seriously hope he finishes the job sometime this season, because it's quite obvious that TO won't be happy unless he's in the news and creating more & more drama each time. Then we won't have to hear about him anymore.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 27, 2006 I'm curious what will happen with TO when he eventually retires from football. Some network will scoop him up immediately. And he'll love remaining in the spotlight. If he's not in jail, or dead.

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Seriously, if someone wants to end his life, especially in a state where it isn't a crime, I'm all for it, especially a nuissance like Owens. It isn't barbaric sports fan ranting, "Die Owens!", it's an opinion. He's proven to be all about attention. So let the guy do it. Just after the October Dallas game.
