2GOLD Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Kurt's entrance is great but his music sounds like Linkin Park remixed the Mortal Kombat theme with his WWE music. In other words, completely nuts much like Kurt.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I smell money in that ring.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 And here's TNA's money feud for 2007.
cd213 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I thought I read that the Olympic committe wasn't going to let TNA use Olympic slam.
razazteca Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Can TNA get away with using the term "Olympic Slam"? Danm I'm loving the Joe vs Kurt confrontation.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Bloody Joe rising behind Angle made me happy. I want that match. Please TNA take my money.
UZI Suicide Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Watching that really makes me appreciates the WWE production team. That just felt so, I dunno.. lackluster. TNA has no idea how to capture a "special moment" like that - you've got the announcers screaming over it, the crowd drowned out by both the announcers and the poor production quality, and absolutely no shots of the jubilation of the crowd. But yeah, anyway.. Joe vs. Angle should be cool.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 And now Jericho makes his "TNA Debut"
razazteca Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Hey Fozzy lower the guitars I can't hear Chris Jericho sing.
2GOLD Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 That ending with this video package is making me want Bound for Glory and every PPV in the future with Joe vs Angle in any way. I'm extremely impressed.
cd213 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I really miss Jericho. I don't think his video making it's "debut" on TNA will burn any bridges. Why not get money for anywhere you can get it. Plus it's not like Vince allowed Fozzy to be taken seriously on WWE TV.
Myxamatosis Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 GREAT entrance for Kurt. Sort of a combination of Kanyon's late WCW/Rey's WWE entrance, only more badass.

But yeah, anyway.. Joe vs. Angle should be cool. I understand what you mean, but having things so polished takes away from the anything can happen effect, in my opinion. Of course I'm fan of the old school studio brawls, from Memphis and on TBS.

I think it was on Headbanger's Ball over a year ago. Technically it is the debut of the video...on TNA and SpikeTV. But I'm pretty sure this video aired last year on MTV2.

I thought I'd miss "you suck" but I didn't. Taking that away makes him seem less like a character, since the fans have been programmed to chant it, and that's a good thing.

Guest Connzilla Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I think it's to early to start the Joe-Angle program
Hasbeen1 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Doubt they'll be in one this early, just got a lot more PPV buys.
Jebus Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Kevin Nash press conference - Paparazzi Director's Cut!!!
Hasbeen1 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Out of all those named, Cecil Fielder made me laugh most. Totally unexpected, but made sense in the middle of the nonsense because of where he played. Doubtful some of you know who that is, if you're teens or just a little older.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I just got LAX's TNA theme... and in the same song, they name drop Rey Mysterio and sample the Grandma's part from the Ohio Players "Funky Worm". Now the song is awesome... but the FUCK?
Guest cacheton Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Great show once again for TNA. Anyone else notice that the "6'8 monster" Abyss was completely exposed standing next to Jake Roberts? Shit if Abyss is 6'8 then Jake is 7 feet.
Scroby Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I thought Jake looked like shit when he first came out but after he got into the ring it seemed that Jake was competely fine again.....Roberts has already been hard to read.
Guest Connzilla Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 I always like seeing Norman Smiley and Sharkboy on tv.
tigeraid Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 That ending with this video package is making me want Bound for Glory and every PPV in the future with Joe vs Angle in any way. I'm extremely impressed. Absolutely. TNA's video production continues to knock it out of the park. The problem is that Impact has a lot of BS, but overall, in the end, they hype the SHIT out of PPVs and do it wlel. And I dunno wtf you were watching, but Joe/Angle felt TOTALLY special to me. It was a huge mark-out moment, especially Joe popping back up with the blood coming down his face. Just tremendous. Total markout. I want a screencap of it.
Guest Connzilla Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Bob Newhart is in hot negation's to be in the Kevin Nash Open Invitational Gauntlet Battle Royal.
Guest sarcy Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Just finished up watching.. Everything was "eh." TNA was suppose to be the wrestling show, but there were more backstage stuff than wrestling and all of the matches were short and served no purpose. I have always hated squash matches. It was cool to see the DDT from Roberts agains. And I am probably the only one who thinks LAX is the most fucking overrated thing in wrestling. Well, next to Joe. :-/

The LAX vs Daniels/Styles fued has been one of the most intense feuds I have seen in a very long time.
