MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Next week Ravens at Titans..should be interesting as McNair makes his return to Tennessee..Im not gonna call it a win cause its always a rough game for the Ravens vs the titans..and Im worried they could overlook it for the Falcons game the following week.
CanadianChris Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahaha. Steelers suck.
naiwf Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 So, the Bears and the Vicks shit the bed today, the Deadskins did everyone in the NFC East a solid by ending Romomania (Cowboys fans have been calling up the fan and saying that they're the team to beat in the entire NFC), and the Giants are looking great after their horrendous start. I'm sure Da Bears will whip our asses next week, but at worst we'll still be + 1 (and tiebreakers) over the rest of the division.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 This is just like the Ravens game..the Broncos are up 14-0 not even 5 minutes in. This is great.
sfaJack Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 the Deadskins did everyone in the NFC East a solid by ending Romomania Romomania isn't dead. I think this loss is on Parcells. If he hadn't completely lost his mind and gone for two IN THE FIRST QUARTER of a (then) 6-5 game, the Cowboys would have won. Just terrible.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 As much fun as it is seeing the Steelers get crushed at home and falling to 2-6.. HAHA Steeler fumble off a long reception inside the 5..lol
Guest NYankees Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Another fumble by the Steelers as they were driving and within 10 yards of a touchdown.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 God, that fucking Bills game was awful. Green Bay outgained them by at least a couple hundred yards, but turning the ball over 4 times isn't going to win you any football games. The call on 1st and goal from the 1 yard line being down 17-10 was the most mind-blowing retarded play call all year by McCarthy. We get it Mike, you're ballsy and unpredictable. But throwing the ball when you have a chance to win a game, and you've been running up and down their defense all day is just stupid, especially on 1st down. I could understand maybe 3rd down or going for it on 4th and doing that, but 1st? Absent that, it would have been 17-17, at worst going into overtime and winning because Buffalo's offense was utter SHIT against our improving defense. It probably would have been that way with or without McGahee, too, that offensive line wasn't doing any favors for Anthony Thomas or Losman, either. I'll give Buffalo this much credit, though, they do seem to have a solid defense. Now, if only Minnesota could choke against San Francisco, that would make my day going into a showdown next week for 2nd place in the NFC North! Probably not going to happen, though. I'm looking at it this way... it hurts a lot less losing this year because we're not contending for a title. It's gotta hurt for Bears fans, though. Miami?!
Guest Felonies! Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Yeah, it feels like we'll never win again now.
CanadianChris Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Damn, that would have been an amazing completion. Plummer looks like he's going to just torch the Steelers today.

You're probably right, but the Cowboys fan in NYC were convinced that they were going to the SB after the Panthers game last week. If nothing else, they MAY back off of that attitude this week.

Pretty inexplicable, and ultimately a very big deal. I'm sure the Skins would have gone for two to tie it and maybe made it, but still: dumb call.
Red Baron Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Am I going to expect Seattle to play defence tomorrow night?
CanadianChris Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 My God, Pittsburgh fumbled AGAIN. At least this time, they recovered it.
Red Baron Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Next week on ESPN What's wrong with Big Ben and the Big Offense?
Hawk 34 Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Next week on ESPN What's wrong with Big Ben and the Big Offense? I hate repeats.
Red Baron Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 There's a whole Steelers market out there. Wait... half of those fans from last year are now Bears fans.
2GOLD Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 There's a whole Steelers market out there. Wait... half of those fans from last year are now Bears fans. And after the Bears loss, they are now Colts fans. And if the Colts lose tonight, they'll be back to being Patriot fans. Circle of life man.
randomguy Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 The Chiefs are somehow 5-3, and Larry "fantasy bust" Johnson has put together two great games back-to-back. Who would have called that one after their season start? As far as the Bears go - they are who we thought they were! I have a soft spot in my heart for the Chiefs because they are my Madden 03 franchise team. I once played an entire game without throwing a pass. First thing I did was cut Green and sign a jobber QB with a rating of 46 to just hande the ball to Priest Holmes on every play.
Red Baron Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 No wonder the NFL has a strong market. Anyways, 6-3 Niners and 6-3 Browns. WTF?
Ripper Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Falcons had 10 drops today. I have never seen that before in a NFL game. 10 fucking drops. And not regular drops. Easy ass catches drops. And all of them were big plays. At least 5 3rd downs ended with a WIDE OPEN reciever dropping a pass that hit him in both his hands as he was standing stationary. Not running a route. Just standing there, pass directly to him and drop. That was horrible.
Red Baron Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Maybe Vick should not throw so hard. Finally some order, as San Diego is leading at the half.
Richard Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 So a charger receiver fumbles and cleveland recovers, the ref rules the fumble was caused by the ground, Browns challenge, replay after replay show that this was the correct call, and then they reverse the call. And now they're in the red zone.
CanadianChris Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Haha, shitty tackling by the Steelers leads to another Denver TD. A rushing TD by Javon Walker, probably the first of his career. Nice.
Red Baron Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 My dad's workplace is full of loser teams this year. I mean everyone there is either a Bills, Steelers, Packers or Dolphins fan. Should be an interesting work day for him tomorrow. Anyways, go Broncos.
