Duke sucks ass this year, they won't get past the 2nd round in hoops.

This might sound goofy but would there be any controversy if FL did upset OSU and Boise won the Fiesta? Then Boise St. is the only unbeaten team left.

It looks like they're starting to come together. McRoberts should become a better player overall and be really helpful.

No...

I doubt there would be. Everyone knows that if you're not in a powerhouse conference (Big Ten, SEC, etc., etc.) you get overlooked.

Arizona State hired Dennis Erickson to head their football team, luring him away from Idaho after just one year.

Idaho made some comments to the effect of "If we knew he'd bolt so soon, we wouldn't have bothered."

Erickson has a record of success wherever college he goes, but he also has a habit of jumping regularly to new jobs.

However, his previous record of success at Oregon State, a program that was DOA when he arrived, should hopefully give the Arizona State faithful reason to think they can challenge USC next season.

Thing is, neither WVU or Rutgers won the Big East and Slaton in particular screwed up against U of L when he fumbled the game away.

Is it just me or are the TV pundits STILL pimping Rutgers instead of U of L? All I hear is this "Oh God, Rutgers was one play from making the BCS! Schiano is staying at Rutgers! They're wonderful!" Let's face it: They lost to Cincinnati. And if you job out to Cincy 30-11 you should never, ever make a BCS game. Ever.

While Rutgers does have an easy road in the Big East next year (WVU, Pitt, and USF all at home) they will get the shit kicked out of them at Papa John's. I'm talking 42-10. The only thing I worry about is that U of L next year has WVU and USF both on the road again.

Why is the Big East getting love from ESPN and not the Big 12!!

"Official" answer-

Because the Big 12 is down this year while the Big East has three 10-win teams

REAL answer-

ESPN has rights to the Big East but not the Big 12, same reason they talk up the Big 10 and Pac 10 and not the SEC, which plays its big games on CBS instead of ESPN or ABC.

Fox Sports has the rights to the Pac 10. Unfortunatley.

TBS - Big XII and Pac-10.

ESPN (and thus ABC) - ACC, SEC, Big Ten, Big East, Big XII, Pac-10.

CBS - SEC's best game each week and Army/Navy.

I didn't realize until typing that out that ESPN/ABC has rights to all of the BCS conferences.

Double however, we will beat Michigan. Mark it down. I will even sig bet any takers.

It was funny. I talked to Damaramu the other night. He is so convinced Michigan would beat USC, despite the fact USC outranked Michigan in every offensive category except rushing. It'll be fun to see USC kick some Wolverine ass. Oh and Boise State over OU too.

yeah okay...if UCLA front 7 teed off on USC...what will the best front 7 in the nation do?

Not a damned thing, apparently.
