Avatar help

I used to have a program on my old computer that could crop images into something that looked good like my current avatr. sadly, that program (I forgot the name of it - Photosmart perhaps?) is not on this new lap top and I have had trouble making a new avatar. Joker has got old and I want to shake things up and change it from Joker to Lex Luthor. I need this image to be 125x125. If anyone could help me out or reccomend a program please help me out.

Well you could just stick it into the avatar and it will resize it automaticly.

Matter of fact, I'm just looking for something to make avatars with instead of opting to use the paint section.

125 x 125 looks a little odd.

 

I use Photoshop, but I'm guessing you want a smaller program.

There's a lot of small pic resizer programs if you search through Google.

 

Plus, Microsoft Office has a picture editor built in. If you have that.

You can download pirated versions of Photoshop.

 

One free program he could use is Irfan View.

I have a .gif file I want to resize for an avatar. I haven't found anything that will resize it. It's barely too big for Imageshack to accept it. Isn't there something that can fix .gifs?
