I wonder how a team of Phil Kessels would do against a team of Lance Armstrongs.

Obscure TSM in-jokes RULE!

Man, that is obscure. Even I don't remember that one.

I'M a jinx. Boston pulls with 90 seconds and scores with 53 to play...I think York got it, but I'm not positive. 4-3.

EDIT:

Time expires, and the Habs hang on 4-3. The guy doing the English broadcast in Montreal said, and I quote: "Patience pays off and the Habs get the win. What more could Habs friends and family ask for?" :spank:

Chicago defeats St. Louis in hockey as well as football, as well they should. Hawks are in 10th now, I think?

Sabres won, but did not finish with style.

Where's that guy who says they're always lucky.

The only thing that I care about is that the Rangers are on a 4 game winning streak.

There's a fun little poll over at ESPN.com to determine who would make up the best line ever. They give you 50 of the all-time best forwards, and you use 12 to construct four lines.

My lines looked like this:

First line: Bobby Hull-Wayne Gretzky-Maurice Richard

Second line: Ted Lindsay-Mario Lemieux-Gordie Howe

Third line: Frank Mahovlich-Jean Beliveau-Guy Lafleur

Fourth line: Bob Gainey-Howie Morenz-Mike Bossy

So I'm going to a bit biased on my ultimate lines, because there are so many great Habs players.

First line:

Boom Boom-Gretzky-Richard

Lafleur-Beliveau-Cournoyer

Gainey-H. Richard-Dionne

Mahovolich-Messier-Espositio.

You fuckin left out Lemieux and Howe!

Sid the Kid has taken the lead with a six (!) point night. I still think my favourite player Iggy will take the Ross, but if Crosby can add five assists on a team that can score eight goals but will stil miss the playoffs...wow.

The lack of Cam Neely on that list makes it obsolete in my opinion. Yes, I know that they have to put current players on it to make it more relevant, but putting Ovechkin, Modano, Crosby, and F'ing Lindros on there but not Neely is a farce.

Call me biased if you want, but I don't remember any of them scoring 50 goals in 44 games.

Joe Sakic already passed Stan Mikita in goals and assists. That surprised me.

Orr-Lidstrom

Park-Potvin

Robinson-Niedermayer

Bourque/Stevens

I don't like putting guys that I haven't seen footage of on my lists.

I voted for Rory.

Sabres are dominating again, tonight.

Steve Sullivan returned from his groin injury to play against Ottawa tonight, and scored the last three goals in a decisive 6-0 victory by Nashville over the Senators. In a stunning turn of events, it was Emery who got pulled midway through the 2nd after allowing all six goals on just 14 shots. Gerber stopped all 19 shots against in 28 minutes played!
