KingPK 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Denver fumbles deep in their own zone, so LT's got a shot.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Colston has rookie of the year on lock, but Jones-Drew has definitely been great. Also, Marv, the Ravens are probably going to drop another one before the end of the year and won't get homefield anyway. I expect them to get the 3 at this point, since New England won't have to do a whole lot to win their division. Cleveland @ Pittsburgh Buffalo Pittsburgh would be the only game that remotely worries me at all, and the way they thumped them a couple weeks ago it shouldnt, but its a road game. At the worst they'll finish the #2 seed should SD be able to run the table, but there's at least 1 game they could lose vs Seattle. Indy's gonna get rolled by the Bengals next week (much to the fact that Id rather the Bengals lose, but anyway) and theres a 1 game lead difference on the Pats. and in this SD/Den game, it would be outrageously hillarious if LT gets hurt with him going out there in the 4th up 21 pts strictly to get the TD record. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 LOL at the sign LT Can't be stopped.. Week 4 - 0 TDs 98 yards rushing.. I think he can be..
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Depends on what your criteria is for MVP. If it's "Most valuable player in the league", it's LT because he can do everything. If it's "Most valuable player to his team", I'd say it's Drew Brees because he's the main reason that New Orleans went from 3-13 to currently 8-4 and a likely NFC South title. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Well yeah, to the league. The team can give Brees their own team MVP if they want. He isn't it of the whole league.

LOL yeah, and it'd be funny when he runs over Baltimore in the divisional playoff game if Baltimore manages to actually beat the wildcard opponent.

Last I checked, 98 yards rushing is still a good day in this league. I guess if he had gotten 2 more yards the Chargers would have won since they've won 21 straight when he rushes for 100 yards then huh? Im also sure the Ravens are the only team to keep him out of the end zone this year (dont know, but Id be willing to bet). OK..I checked..Week 5 he was kept out of the EZ by the Steelers on just 36 yards rushing but he's had a TD (recieving or rushing) every other game.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 The Steelers also kept LT out of the end zone this season. However that makes what LT did even more amazing. He broke the record with three weeks to go and for 2 of the weeks this season he didn't even get into the end zone.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Huge win for the Bills today that keeps their slim playoff hopes alive. Losman is improving every week and the defense actually made some stops today.

teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 The Cowboys score in short order, but the Saints eat up 13 minutes of clock putting up their response. The question now becomes "Can the Saints stop the Cowboys rushing game?"
MFer 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 LOL at Mike Karney scoring the TD. EDIT: Make that two. Now 3!!!
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 That was fast... The Saints just intercepted Romo and will have the ball on the Cowboys 30.
The Robfather 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 So, anyone have Mike Karney on their fantasy team? haha
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Karney catches a TD pass. This is one messed up game. Rob, not even MIKE KARNEY has Mike Karney on his fantasy team. He's been primarily a blocker his whole career in New Orleans.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 KerSACK on Romo by Will Smith, who's gettin' jiggy with it tonight.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Bush makes a hell of a gain on a busted play, as Brees was looking to dump the ball off any way he could and Bush took advantage of his blockers.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Shit... Marques Colston's ankle appears to be turned 90 degrees in the wrong direction. False alarm, just a cramped calf/ankle.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Official review of the Saints' catch came before the Saints spiked the ball on the next play, so this will be held up to see if it's overturned and declared a dropped pass. Pass ruled incomplete, but The Tuna gets an Unsportsmanlike Conduct for throwing the challenge flag within the last 2 minutes of the half.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Jamal Jones TD catch with 44 seconds left. 21-7 Saints (Jones is in because Marques Colston came off the field earlier with an injury)

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 It's funny how the NFL is the only league where the networks don't ever have to worry about smaller market teams making the championship round. If the NBA or MLB had a final like San Diego/New Orleans, they'd be horrified.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 THAT passes as taunting? That's ridiculous. TO should be subject to those NBA rules about lobbying the officials for a penalty... Mike McKenzie's "taunting" was probably telling TO "knock that shit off... it was NOT pass interference."

If the NBA or MLB had a final like San Diego/New Orleans, they'd be horrified. New Orleans is a Big Story and San Diego has the MVP, so that makes it okay. Jacksonville in the Super Bowl would give the networks a scare.
