Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Why aren't they going for the FG already? They wanted to get it inside the 20 for Gould. Understandable, he's been inconsistent lately. See?

Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Either Chicago nails a saftey and wins or TB sends it deep just to miss a FG.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 With how Grossman has played lately, if ESPN does segments downing the Bears' chances it should be about the defense who's not been as good as advertised.

Well, they're really getting thinned out by injury. Just out of curiosity, how much of the country has this game?
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 I know. I'm just saying its not Rex holding them back now. It's the injuries suffered to the defense, causing them to suck.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Whatever happens, Gruden looks stupid for having Rattay sit while Gradkowski has stunk up the joint around the NFL. edit: Bears win, finally. 12-2.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Nice to see the Saints back their asses into the playoffs. If Bears hold on, HFA! Clinching with two weeks to go is not backing in.

Guest Paul Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Eli throws passes at peoples helmets. Great. edit: If the Eagles win out, they win the divison. That's just insane.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Amazingly, Green Bay is still in the playoff hunt. They'll be a game back of Atlanta and the Giants-Eagles loser. Not entirely surprising, I called anywhere from 7-9 wins this year. Funny how the Green Bay-San Francisco game last week had, for the first time in a very long time in a game played between the two, playoff implications. Chicago is going to be resting their starters in Week 17, so that makes Thursday night's game at Lambeau versus Minnesota pivotal if they want to make it to the postseason, since the Vikings are on a late season surge of their own. If Green Bay wins, all they'd need, I think, is for Philly to falter to a worse record since the Eagles beat them earlier this year, I'm not sure about the Falcons. Chuck Woolery 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 titans win ugly. i love it. watching betts run and consistently pick up 5-6 yards in the last few minutes of that saints/skins game was absolutely brutal. i like watching the saints offence when they're on but they weren't clicking today, and it seemed like brees was off. at least they picked up the division
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Chicago is going to be resting their starters in Week 17 Why would they? They already got a bye. They don't or shouldn't want to get rusted up for their playoff game. I'd say play the starters first half, if it's a blowout, rest them for the second. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Why the hell was Oakland favoured in this game? Their offence is too pitiful for them to be giving points to any team.
