JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 Not sure, if should go to the General Wrestling Folder or this one, but I am going to No Way Out at the Staples Center. I havent been to a wrestling show since a WWF House Show in 1991 before Wrestlemania 7 (I dont remember when exactly, but I remember it was during that time). I was 7 then, so Im sure that things have changed. I pretty excited, since it is a Smackdown pay per view and the last few Smackdown pay per views have been pretty good. Well what should I expect and what are the do and don'ts of going. Is going to a pay per view event a good idea?
Just John 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 No Way Out is usually a pretty solid show with good matches. I think WWE has to put out something good since there's not much incentive to buy this one with WM looming. Hard to say what programs will be on the show. That'll be more clear after the Rumble. pochorenella 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 I always enjoy going to PPVs, no matter what. Of course the bigger shows are always the most fun but NWO was pretty solid this year, which can be said of all SD! PPVs in 2006. Also, it should give you a nice preview of how WrestleMania could shape up. Go and have a good time.

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted December 20, 2006 If you go just to see some good matches, it will likely be enjoyable.
claydude14 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2006 You can expect a bonus match way better than the announced card reveals (Benoit/Regal No Mercy; Tag Team Ladder Match Armmagdeon).
Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2006 Speculation that the nWo will return.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2006 I wrote a whole bunch of stuff before about this but my browser crashed. Anyway, the last show I went to was WM 21 which happened at the Staples Center. I think being there live is better than seing on TV. It helped that the card was good except for the Show/Akebono match. I may go to NWO if I get tickets for Christmas. If not, I'll wait till the card is announced and buy tickets closer to the show. Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2006 I might go, does anyone in So-Cal know if there's going to be a SD! or Raw taping at Honda Center too?
Prophet of Mike Zagurski 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2006 I assume both brands come to California at the same time. I think that the WWE would have a show in Anaheim around the same time. Though they do skip Anaheim sometimes.
Prime Time Andrew Doyle 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2006 I think being there live is better than seing on TV. I Definitely agree on that one. I saw a Thunder when WCW was down here in Oct 2000 and it is so good being in the arena live. One real good point I found is that with no commentator it forces you to really focus on whats happening. Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2006 Sort of off topic, but are there what are some good places to watch PPV's in LA/OC, preferably the latter.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2006 Honestly, I don't know. On the WWE.com page, they have a list of Blast Arenas. They list the places that show PPV's. You could also call the local bars/Hooters around you and see if they are showing it.
