I only know teams 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 & 11. It sucks that Danielle is the one from the Pinkies that came back since Dani was MUCH hotter. I think this group looks set up for a Romber, Barbies, Uchenna and Joyce final 3.

I haven't been following the show for very long, so I don't know most of these teams. I have a feeling this season is going to leave me a little cold.

Weak lineup. I don't know how the brothers from Rob and Ambers season didn't make it but fucking David and Mary and SisterDwarf did.

Maybe it's the conspiracy theorist in me, but it seems like they went out of their way to pick a ton of really weak teams (the two you mentioned in particular) so the three that I mentioned and possibly Danielle & Eric would last pretty far into the game.

Your final four will be

Dustin and Kandace

Eric and Danielle

Rob and Amber

Kevin and Drew

That's pretty easy to call.

I've seen the spoilers, and I can tell you that

at least two of those teams are wrong.

How the hell did Teri and Ian get invited back?

1) Kevin and Drew - The original Frat Boys, from Season 1. They finished fourth, and had a cameo as the hot dog vendors in Family Edition.

2) Danny and Oswald - Cha Cha Cha from Season 2. They also finished fourth, and although they're both gay, are not a couple, but best friends. Perhaps not coincidentally, they're probably the most likeable gay team in the history of the Race.

3) John Vito and Jill - Season Three. Jill and her brother were supposed to be on Season One, but that never happened, and Jill's brother subsequently died during 9/11. She and John Vito (her brother's friend) were dating, but apparently no longer.

8) Teri and Ian - Finished second on Season 3. Best known for Ian yelling a lot, and being the oldest team to reach the Finish Line. Apparently Ian was cranky because you're not allowed to smoke during the Race, and he gave it up right before they started.

10) Joe and Bill - Team Guido from Season 1. They finished third, and a distant third, not even reaching the finish line. They're life partners, and to me, rather annoying.

And because I'm a shill, I'm linking you to my article at Inside Pulse talking about the teams and four of the known final five. Only one team is truly a surprise.

Family......Edition? Next you'll be telling me that they made a fifth Rocky movie.

Someone throw up a pic of the Bransen girls to remind him...

I'm pretty disappointed that there's no Ken & Gerard. Also, Colin & Christie would have been fun to watch again.

There were bound to be disappointments with who was in and who was out. David and Mary shouldn't really be in this - they stand out as the worst Racers of the bunch - but they're the Rupert Bonehams of TAR, so here they are. Family Edition sucked, but throwing the Weavers in would give us an "evil" team (or second "evil" team if you see Romber that way). Also, season 4 and season 6 are also not represented. Hell, even Big Brother threw loyal fans a bone by throwing Chicken George from Season One into the mix. Surely they could've gotten a team from each of those seasons.

I'm disappointed they didn't include "Jonathan and Victoria" (The most abusive couple to ever feature on the show) or failing them Colin and his GF. Although I guess alot of teams would have been out of contention as I'm sure their have been some breakups since the various seasons have aired.

Guido is the original evil team and they are there.

The non-midget member of Team Midget looks like she's had implants put in since the last time.

If Rob and Amber don't take this then they should be very, very ashamed. This is probably the weakest lineup in a long time and the fact that it's the All-Star Edition is laughable.

You're underestimating a lot of teams there (as far as a weak lineup goes). Aside from David and Mary and JVJ, none of the teams finished lower than fourth. As for the "All Star" tag... well, they weren't exactly All Stars for Survivor and Big Brother either. Fitting for "reality" TV, I suppose.

I might as well note that we've already got our analyses up for this episode over at Reality Dish. I promise that (aside from my sig) this will be the only time I'll plug the site in this thread.

I really hate that, based on the previews, it looks like we're getting another edition of "Oh shit! It's Rob and Amber! We gotta make sure to get them out!! Look at what Rob and Amber did! We gotta get Rob and Amber for that! Rob and Amber! Rob and Amber!!"

I'm not so much sick of R&A, as I am of the other teams fucking OBSESSING over them.

That never works, either. Several teams tried that in season 3 with Derek and Drew (the infamous twinhunt). The twins finished higher than any of those teams involved. Ironically, John Vito and Jill were involved in that season. Also ironically, Romber hasn't actually done anything Boston Rob-ish yet...
