alfdogg 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2007 To be fair, Miami had a similar record against the league's elite last season (Dallas, Phoenix, Detroit, SA).
naiwf 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2007 True, which is why I said it was just cause for concern. I wouldn't be shocked to see Phoenix in the NBA Finals but I wouldn't put money on it either since they're probably going to have to play either LA or Utah just to get to the WCF where they'll likely get either Dallas or SA. If they get through that murderer's row they'll have earned the title against whatever team they blow out from the East. At least last year's Heat had a guy capable of playing out of his mind for 2 weeks. I don't see anyone being able to mimic Wade's effort last year and the East getting humbled in 5 games by whoever survives the West. Then again I also thought the West would win easily last year, the Tigers would kill the Cards and OSU would beat up Florida.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2007 Seeing as the first 5 losses against those teams came in like the first 10 games, I couldn't care less. I would see if they got beat down by any of those teams or Amare was playing anywhere near what he was playing in the earlier losses but this is a completely different team. Utah won a damn good game last night, but with Raja out and Marion getting called for a foul for looking at people too long, they were just missing the guys needed to win. I still haven't seen a team that I would pick over the suns in a 7 game series if they are completely healthy.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2007 IMO this is 2005 all over again Like the Spurs in 2005 only one team has a shot at beating the Suns this year, that team is Dallas. If the Suns can avoid them or beat them it's over.
