Some of the lines he's given are brilliant but I find he just can't handle them. Rogen on the other hand, I really like. This thread got the heart treatment though, so the movie has to be great. The only exceptions are Heavyweights and Celtic Pride (he wrote and directed both), everything else from then on has been stellar. And this should be no exception. I'm glad to see Seth Rogan finally getting a lead role. Looking at Apatow's IMDB profile, I didn't realize he wrote for The Critic. He wrote one of my favorite episodes (Frankie and Ellie Get Lost). This is going to be one of the two or three movies a year I see on opening day. If you looked at IMDB, you should have noticed he didn't direct Heavy Weights. But I LOVE Heavy Weights. Stiller is gold in that movie. I just hope Apatow's next movie isn't a romantic comedy. Yes, 40 was a different type of RC and KU seems to be different to, but they are still romantic comedies. I could see someone building an argument for Heavyweights being a good guilty pleasure but Celtic Pride...ugh! I can't wait till Walk Hard, the next movie Apatow's writing.
