Dobbs 3K Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Watched this tonight for lack of anything else catching my attention. It wasn't horrible like I was expecting. Some of the jokes actually made me laugh a bit. Overall, I'd say it was pretty average for a sitcom.
Guest oscarjunk25 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 this is possibly the most retarded show ever. i hated the commercials enough--i didnt need some sitcom to remind me of geico and its retarded commercials.
CanadianChris Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 I lasted five minutes. It was pretty unwatchable.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 If anyone who watched this also saw "The Mullets," which was worse?
Black Lushus Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 it's okay, but I'll be shocked if it lasts a whole season.
Hawk 34 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 If anyone who watched this also saw "The Mullets," which was worse? As a premise, Cavemen isn't that bad. Mullets was just horrible on every conceivable level. I didn't get why UPN felt mocking their top fanbase (wrestling) was a smart move. Cavemen could be decent with better writing. I'm not so sure why this is supposedly controversial. You would have to make a big stretch to call this racist and even so, it's pretty tame compared to most network offerings. It's not an embarrassment to television, it's just boring.
King Kamala Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 The Mullets and The Pits (I wonder how many people besides me even remember that garbage show?) were easily the two worst sitcoms of this decade. Caveman is probably the lower (upper?) half of the bottom 10, somewhere with Quintuplets and Tracy Morgan's ripoff of The Cosby Show. EDIT: Forgot to mention Baby Bob....my god what a terrible show that was. And then we had to deal with him as a Quiznos pitchman.
Hawk 34 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Bottom 10? Cavemen isn't remotely that bad.
Youth N Asia Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 While Cavemen isn't really "bad"...there are no jokes there. I understand that yes, there were jokes, but nothing to laugh at. I watched half of the first Mullett's episode cause I didn't realize that Smakdown was ending early for it. That was the worst piece of film ever committed to the TV screen
Black Lushus Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 you know what was a good ABC show that died before it's time? Sons & Daughters...not that show with Sally Field and All MacBeal, I'm talking the one with the guy from Carpool.

What was the one with the single father and gang of crazy kids? The Savages, was that it? I liked that show.
Downhome Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 I liked Sons and Daughters as well. It wasn't anywhere near as great as Arrested Development, but it had the same type of feel of that and maybe CYE.

Scroby Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 I watched it a little bit, it wasn't to bad but it just wasn't funny.
