Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Slight chance I might be able to go to the Clippers game on Saturday. The Blazers are doing well, but I heard the Clippers were making a late run. Should I go or would I have to face wasting money to watch the hometown team lose?

Should I go or would I have to face wasting money to watch the hometown team lose? Well the Clippers have won 5 of 6 and are playing their best basketball of the season, so they might have a chance of winning
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Yeah, the Clips are winning lately. With Jason Hart as their PG. How is this happening?
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 25, 2007 Considering you're a Lakers fan, wouldn't that be a win-win for you? I'm more a Blazers fan now, since they're the only hometown team I can support in the majors. I still like the Lakers, but I don't feel as much of a tie to them anymore. So, I would like to see them win, especially against the Clippers, who I would be rooting against anyways, regardless of who they were playing. I can't stand to see them doing well, at least not in the same town as the Lakers.
Guest Report post Posted March 26, 2007 Kobe with only 22 and guess what. The Lakers are losing.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2007 Hopefully they pull it out. I'd rather not see Golden State in the playoffs. Pacers lose to the Bulls 92-90 on a Ben Gordon shot with 2.8 seconds. I'm still baffled as to why he didn't replace Jason Kidd in the All-Star game, but more importantly: Jermaine O'Neal and Mike Dunleavy combined for 62 points on 24-39 shooting. The rest of the team: 8-37. I'm still confident we'll keep our playoff streak alive, but some other guys (read: Jamaal Tinsley) need to pull their heads out of their asses. Guest Report post Posted March 26, 2007 Kobe turned 22 near the end of the 3rd quarter, to 43 at the end of the game. Win.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2007 Yeah, the Clips are winning lately. With Jason Hart as their PG. How is this happening? Jason Hart is a good PG. The real question is who's wife did he sleep with in Sacramento that he wasn't allowed to leave the bench....ever.
Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2007 Yeah, the Clips are winning lately. With Jason Hart as their PG. How is this happening? Jason Hart is a good PG. I've watched Hart in Charlotte AND Sacramento; you must have him confused with somebody else.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted March 27, 2007 Yeah, I remember Hart from his Syracuse days. Aggressive defender. Horrible on the offensive end.
MFer 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2007 I remember Jason Hart playing against Michigan State in the NCAA tournament in 2000 when the Spartans won it all. I believe he's the cousin of Michigan RB Mike Hart.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2007 So Denver has the ball up 3 with 1.5 to play therefore I think the game is over and change the channel only to miss Sheed steal the ball and make a sixty foot shot to tie the game. Pistons win in OT

I've watched Hart in Charlotte AND Sacramento; you must have him confused with somebody else. I am intersted in how you saw him play in Sacramento. Did you mean warm up? And he did a damn fine job in Charlotte when Brevin Knight and Ray Felton went down. But its not like he was going to get PT over those two.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 Someone needs to tell Rick Carlisle that he's not Mike D'Antoni, and that the Pacers aren't good enough to play a seven-man rotation.
Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 What amuses me more than anything about the Grizzlies/Lakers game is, if I hadn't watched the game, and somebody told me that somebody outscored Kobe Bryant in that game, I would have gone through about twenty-five guys before I got to Tarence F. Kinsey, including about four guys that didn't actually suit up... Kobe had to score, like, seven points in the final three minutes just to finish a point behind him. That will probably be the highlight of Kinsey's whole fucking career...
Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 Someone needs to tell Rick Carlisle that he's not Mike D'Antoni, and that the Pacers aren't good enough to play a seven-man rotation. Someone nees to call Mike D'Antoni and tell him his team is 10 players deep and he is killing his starters. Then Rick will stop pulling a Mike. I never bought into the Hubie Brown "givem all 25 minutes" theory, but what the hell is up with some of these coachs refusing to use their bench.

Ripper 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 That was a pretty good game actually. The bench got to play, Marcus Banks showed why he should be getting more PT (that dude is a hound defensively) and if they could have hit some shots in the stretch they actually would have come back from 25 down in the 4th using only their bench. I enjoyed it. Plus Jason Richardson was on freakin fire and Baron Davis looked good. If they get in the playoffs, they won't beat Dallas in a series, but boy they would beat the crap out of them for 5-6 games and might end up costing them later in the playoffs. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 I think it's funny that of the Eastern Conference, the only 3 teams to lock up spots are in the same division. The other two must be that bad.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 I think it's funny that of the Eastern Conference, the only 3 teams to lock up spots are in the same division. The other two must be that bad. It also sucks because, while they still are only 3 games out of 1st and 1/2 game out of the 2 seed, the Bulls could end up with a 5 seed and play on the road in the playoffs. That's some bullshit. alfdogg 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 Mavericks to sign 44-year-old Willis if he passes physical March 30, 2007 DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks will sign 44-year-old forward Kevin Willis to a 10-day contract Monday if he passes a physical. Dallas coach Avery Johnson said Friday the 7-foot Willis would be signed to give the team another big man for the postseason. "He'll be around our big guys at practice to bang on them," Johnson said. "Hopefully we can get him in good enough shape to play in an emergency and maybe give us a couple of fouls." Willis is a veteran of 20 NBA seasons and played in 29 games for the Atlanta Hawks in 2004-05. He was not on an NBA roster last season. Willis has averaged 12.2 points and 8.4 rebounds during his career, and he would be the oldest active player in the league if signed. Willis would actually be the oldest player ever to play in a game.
