Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 So there were these newborn kittens apparently abandoned in my backyard last week. I live next door to the cat lady, so that wouldn't be too unusual, but this time was worse. They were left in a kind of secluded area by the side of my house, inside an old bamboo trellis. Of course they couldn't see, and were just wandering around with dirt and other stuff stuck on them. But the crappiest part was how one of the kittens was stuck, HANGING UPSIDE DOWN BY ITS UMBILICAL CORD. I don't know how it could have gotten suspended there in the first place, let alone hanging above the ground. It probably got caught on the trellis or something. I just got some old clothes for them to sleep on and put them in a box. But anyway, the cat lady heard about it eventually and took them. I wanted to keep 'em, too. P.S. While I was looking at them on the ground, I saw two ladybugs doin' it. What they were doing, I don't know. I don't think it was sex, they were kind of attached by the BUTT and scurrying around.
