Pearl Jam's Ten has 3 or 4 songs on it that are mediocre and skippable. Even some of my favorite CDs ever like Nevermind and In Utero have something I skip (Territorial Pissings and Tourette's for instance). Actually I'll be more elaborate when it comes to Ten. Thanks to Soulseek, I've become much more appreciative of the album format, provided it's executed well. I can probably think of a dozen off the top of my head, but the one that stands out to me the most out of my current collection would be The Moody Blues-Days of Future Passed. Mine's probably tindersticks (2nd). I never skip a thing on London Calling or Blonde on Blonde. Am I the only one who hasn't hardly heard any album that doesn't have some skip worthy tracks? I tend to approach albums in a style completely opposite to that. A single mediocre song often becomes a lot less mediocre when it's part of a cohesive album, and to skip that song disrupts the flow of the whole larger item.
