Nobody cares about the Ducks. Nobody will ever care about the Ducks. Furthermore, why are you rooting for two teams in the same division?

It doesn't matter that they're rivals, I like 'em both. Plus, I was born in SF, and the Sharks are the closest team there. I want to see the California teams meet in the playoffs.

As for not caring, it goes both ways since I don't care about most other teams.

I really don't want to see the Ducks play Calgary again. That was a boring series when they did it last year. I hate both teams, but Ducks v. Sharks would be the shit.

Just domination right now by Detroit. Calgary has had PLENTY of chances to stay in it but the special teams are finally producing and Hasek has been superb. Just hang on boys, keep it simple and avoid mistakes. It will be extremely tough to win tomorrow but I hope they can find a way.

Oh, it wasn't that bad a slash. They're treating this like McClennan Bertuzzi'd someone.

To clarify, this is like a lesser version of what McSorely did a few years ago. Definately bad, but not as crazy as the announcers were portraying it as.

It was totally classless.....and the fact it was the backup goalie

The announcers have been saying that Flames have been complaining about the Red Wings running the goalie...then Flames change goalie....only to LITERALLY slash a Red Wing

Iginla looked like he cross checked the back of Schneider's knee, which (if that's what happened) is worse than the Mclennan thing.

I still think cross checking someone from behind headfirst into the boards is way worse than what McSlashy did.

The Flames are pathetic. It's one thing picking on a team that rarely fights, but that was way over the line. I hope Iginla is suspended.

Broken foot is really vague.

Flames star Jarome Iginla got into the act, with hooking and cross-checking penalties with 43 seconds left with aggressive stick work.

"It was really about getting some fights going at that point to keep our energy up and carry some anger into the next game," Iginla said with several new stitches over his left eye. "We're not going away

"I was really disappointed. Not a little, but a lot," Hasek said. "Their goalie, what he did and Iginla, he's the captain of the team and should be in charge.

"Those last 5 or 6 minutes if you were watching on TV, I think it was sort of disappointing."

I really don't like Iginla.

I really don't like Iginla.

I still have quite a bit of respect for him, but these little incidents really make me ask myself why.

Whatever, the fact is there was NO need for that at all. Playoffs or not, that was ridiculous.

Ed Belfour made a career doing this type of thing. Besides Holmstrem embelished it pretty good I thought.
