Star Ocean 3 Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Nobody cares about the Ducks. Nobody will ever care about the Ducks. Furthermore, why are you rooting for two teams in the same division? It doesn't matter that they're rivals, I like 'em both. Plus, I was born in SF, and the Sharks are the closest team there. I want to see the California teams meet in the playoffs. As for not caring, it goes both ways since I don't care about most other teams.
Guest Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 I really don't want to see the Ducks play Calgary again. That was a boring series when they did it last year. I hate both teams, but Ducks v. Sharks would be the shit.
Zetterberg is God Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Does anyone know what time the Red Wings-Flames Game 6 is tomorrow? I HATE these TBD's...It's hard working a work schedule around them. Game six is on at 9 PM eastern.
packwingfn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Thanks...Just heard it, I'm working 4-9 so that's good that I dont have to switch shifts now. It makes sense to have it a night game since their playing 2 games in less than 24 hours
packwingfn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 When does getting pushed into the goalie become goalie interference? Horribile Horribile call.....and man what a period!
packwingfn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 And with the shorthanded goal for Chelios! And zetty finally got his first playoff goal yay
Zetterberg is God Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Just domination right now by Detroit. Calgary has had PLENTY of chances to stay in it but the special teams are finally producing and Hasek has been superb. Just hang on boys, keep it simple and avoid mistakes. It will be extremely tough to win tomorrow but I hope they can find a way.
packwingfn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Zetterberg with another one. And the Wings are keeping the pressure on....I like it
packwingfn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 WHAT A F*@ CHEAP SHOT!!! Totally setup too...Did you see the Flames pat him on the head?
Zetterberg is God Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 WHAT THE FUCK. Seriously, utterly classless move by the Flames. Playfair and McClennan both deserve HUGE fines and even suspensions for that shit.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Oh, it wasn't that bad a slash. They're treating this like McClennan Bertuzzi'd someone. To clarify, this is like a lesser version of what McSorely did a few years ago. Definately bad, but not as crazy as the announcers were portraying it as.
Zetterberg is God Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Whatever, the fact is there was NO need for that at all. Playoffs or not, that was ridiculous.
packwingfn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 It was totally classless.....and the fact it was the backup goalie The announcers have been saying that Flames have been complaining about the Red Wings running the goalie...then Flames change goalie....only to LITERALLY slash a Red Wing
packwingfn Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 We are so inside the Flames head right now... And now Iginla might get suspended
Zetterberg is God Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Seriously, the Flames are just getting out of hand now.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Iginla looked like he cross checked the back of Schneider's knee, which (if that's what happened) is worse than the Mclennan thing. I still think cross checking someone from behind headfirst into the boards is way worse than what McSlashy did.
Zetterberg is God Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Iginla better be gone for tomorrow or this is bullshit. Anyway, absolute domination by Detroit. The top line and special teams were clicking and that's what they need tomorrow if they want to close it out.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Apparently Sidney Crosby broke his foot with two weeks left in the regular season, and has been playing with it since. That's crazy, since he's still been good with a broken foot. Amazing.
Guest Queen Leelee Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 The Flames are pathetic. It's one thing picking on a team that rarely fights, but that was way over the line. I hope Iginla is suspended. Broken foot is really vague.
Slayer Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Nobody cares about the Ducks. Nobody will ever care about the Ducks. Snoop cares about the Ducks!
CanadianChris Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Good Lord. Please don't tell me Vancouver is going to blow ANOTHER 3-1 series lead. Can't anyone put a puck in the net?
bob_barron Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Apparently not. I'm still confident about Game 7. I'd be even more confident if Zubov and Murrow can't play on Monday. I don't know, I just feel really good about Monday night.
packwingfn Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Flames star Jarome Iginla got into the act, with hooking and cross-checking penalties with 43 seconds left with aggressive stick work. "It was really about getting some fights going at that point to keep our energy up and carry some anger into the next game," Iginla said with several new stitches over his left eye. "We're not going away "I was really disappointed. Not a little, but a lot," Hasek said. "Their goalie, what he did and Iginla, he's the captain of the team and should be in charge. "Those last 5 or 6 minutes if you were watching on TV, I think it was sort of disappointing." I really don't like Iginla.

I still have quite a bit of respect for him, but these little incidents really make me ask myself why.
Red Baron Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Whatever, the fact is there was NO need for that at all. Playoffs or not, that was ridiculous. Ed Belfour made a career doing this type of thing. Besides Holmstrem embelished it pretty good I thought.
bob_barron Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Dallas is going to win the series. You said the same thing after Game 5. We get it.
