Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 HBK comes out to Sexy Boy and not the DX music? Wow. I can't really get the crosses and fruity S&M gear to mesh together in my mind.
ChrisMWaters Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Have Cena and Orton had a high profile one on one match yet? I remember talk of them being the 'dream match of the future'. Closest I think that they had was that one match on the Eddie Guerrero tribute Raw.
Guest robrabies Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I can't explain how fucking stupid it is that Shane-O Mac vs. Lashley gets the ME spot over this.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I actually hope Orton wins because Cena/Michaels at Mania bored me. Neither match at Backlash is something I "want" to see, though.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 No JR it's not "Harvard Yards" it's "Hahvud Yahds". Try to get it right.
Downhome Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I wish Orton and Edge would stay out of the title picture for a while now, until later in this year. I really like this Cena/HBK feud, and I would like to see it continue one-on-on. Let Orton and Edge feud, and let Cena/HBK continue. I really don't want to see anyone else get too involved in the title picture right now. Without them, who's going to job at Backlash? You're a fool if you think Michaels will eat canvas 2 ppv's in a row. There are ways to go about things without having HBK job again. I guess I could live with Orton being involved, but only if he's obviously nothing more than a prop in the Cena/HBK feud. I'd like the main focus to just be on Cena/HBK. I wouldn't want Edge involved simply because I don't want to see that guy used as a prop in a feud.
Guest NYR10 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I want HBK to have another ladder match, much like his epic one with Razor Ramon. That match was such a clash of different types of good workrate, it just worked perfectly...I'm struggling to think of someone that has the talent of Scott Hall that can put on another match like that with HBK.

Don't know if he's on a Scott Hall level... But I wouldn't mind an HBK/Mr. Kennedy Ladder match.
Dobbs 3K Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Nice technical wrestling so far. I don't care what anyone says, Randy Orton can go. He's probably my favorite wrestler right now, at least on RAW.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I missed it, how did HBK get hardaway'd? I look up and Shawn's opened up.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Michaels couldn't do the bumps or innovative spots that a ladder match requires, nowadays. Not discounting what he did for that ladder match, though, certainly a ***** classic at that time.

We've seen Shawn in a ladder match since returning and it wasn't pretty. It'd be a risk to do a ladder match with Shawn since people come to expect high spots galore with ladder matches now and that was far from what we saw with Ramon in 1994/5. There's a ton of people good enough to work with Shawn in a ladder match. Obviously in an effort to get that Hall type quality, its a bit more difficult but not as much.
Downhome Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I've been watching the latest episodes off Memphis TV to follow the Lawler/Hogan feud, and once again I'm amazed at just how different Lawler is in Memphis than he is here in WWE.
Dobbs 3K Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I don't know if HBK needs to risk doing another ladder match at this point in his career.
trackc53 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 i know that eye was a little impromptu, but I'd like if Orton just went to town on that thing. But no..go back to working on the leg or whatever it was you were doing.

He's probably my favorite wrestler right now, at least on RAW. The guy is a classic old school heel. the hair pull take down early was a classic heel move you just don't see these days. I'm also a fan of the Garvin Stomp.
Dobbs 3K Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Yeah, but then what would he do? Apply an Eyelock for the submission?
Hawk 34 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 I don't know if HBK needs to risk doing another ladder match at this point in his career. However, it's fine to keep doing the garbage matches and mass bumping he currently does?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Edge is also not a main eventer because he's taking time to pester Orton, a guy who has won 1 match in 4 months.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 LOL @ Michaels doing "mass bumps". The guy does the same match every week. Except for the moonsault at Mania. But he missed Cena completely there.
fazzle Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Edge is also not a main eventer because he's taking time to pester Orton, a guy who has won 1 match in 4 months. Two matches. 8 man tag on ECW with the MITB guys.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 All these years with 5-8 matches every Monday you'd think one of them would end during the commercial break...

But he missed Cena completely there. What about the elbow drop from the ladder at mania? Michaels might not be taking Jeff Hardy like bumps, but given the condition of Michaels' back and his age...he's doing more dangerous spots than he should be.
Guest robrabies Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Note to Cena...that's how you sell a leg.

Two matches. 8 man tag on ECW with the MITB guys. Carlito and Flair (you could say that is two). With Kennedy over the Hardy's and the 8 man tag.
