Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2007 That was a bad signing, because clearly he couldn't handle high pressure situations after last season's playoff debacle. Muckler=idiot.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 10, 2007 What's with you Ottawa locals always saying Miller is a girl. Last year, too. Show respect to the better goalie, like us intelligent Sabre fans did for Lundqvist. Peons.

Yeah, about the only silver lining of an early playoff exit this season would have been that Muckler almost certainly would have been fired.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Muckler's hissy fits in Game 1 last year were hilarious. He's such a miserable old coot. I don't miss his days in Buffalo.

Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Since I noticed some Flyers hate from Treble, a Leaf fan, when I mentioned Brind'Amour, I feel the need to mention that Martin Biron specifically chose to be traded to Philadelphia, even though other teams offered more for him. Thank you. Now hate Buffalo more. What I say here stays here, and I will say more if it stays here. When it leaves here, it stops.

Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2007 False. It was because he wanted to be near Quebec, and there were no teams in the market for a goalie near Quebec.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Marty specifically said he wanted to be a starter. This was after the trade, though.
Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Marty specifically said he wanted to be a starter. This was after the trade, though. And he didn't want to play in Phoenix or Los Angeles. Ok, fun over. No more of that. I will never mention specifics again outside of PMs.
Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 OK, I'll admit. I wanted to write a huge preview for a Ducks/Sharks series. I've sensed the dissappointment that it won't happen, and I sympathize. I don't even know if they'll continue next season, it just felt like this is the time. Detroit's not getting a preview, they should be in the Leastern Conference, anyway. SHUT UP. I don't think I agree with that, Czech. I don't care if he writes them or not. I'm not offended or anything by them, I mean, who honestly reads them? Let him write 'em if he likes. That's a subtle dig, but I don't waste such great journalism on just one forum.

Ok, fun over. No more of that. I will never mention specifics again outside of PMs. Phoenix is high on Tellqvist and they recently resigned him for about $1 mil per season, for whatever reason. Plus, Phoenix wasn't going to give up Adams. Fun over. Fuck you. If there's one thing I know, it's Biron.

Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Fun over. Fuck you. If there's one thing I know, it's Biron. I only say fun over because I am not getting further into specifics where everyone can read it. And I don't trust you to not post my PMs if I did PM you the specifics, so fuck that. No Biron offer had players changing hands. None.
Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Oh and Buffalo had to shed salary to add Zubrus and get Connolly back, they HAD TO trade Biron to a team that was not giving them salary back. It is not about what they wanted to do, it's what they had to do. Because clearly you are not going to trade Biron and add Ty Conklin unless you have to. Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Oh yeah, well Darcy Regier tells me, peon bitch, every trade offer he's had in the past 20 years. Along with every other team. And personal contact info to all his friends. I ain't afraid to say it cuz I got cred, mothafucker.
Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I only talk to one guy that works in the front office. I don't even know exactly what he does because he wouldn't tell me. Probably because he didn't want to get in trouble. I only know about some players that are on the block, and players that get involved with the Kings through trade talks and such. There are a lot of players that I know nothing about. Biron and our players are all I knew about at the deadline. But that's because we sucked and weren't in the business of trading for players. Whenever shit needs to be kept silent, I don't get told about it. I wish I knew about every team. But I don't. Hell, I only know the guy because I was making a wisecrack about a certain player to my dad and the guy overheard me and said, "if only you knew." I could tell the guy wanted to talk, so I was all ears.

Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I just realized how intelligent Ruff was for playing Biron most games (would have been 4 of 7 without Ottawa's cheating), and saving Miller for the playoffs. I thought it was just because Buffalo didn't consider Ottawa worthwhile opponents. All those games this season where Buffalo outshot Ottawa and lost... and the ridiculous scheduling where the Sabres had back-to-back games with them. The luck is over. fazzle 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Buffalo's power play is seriously more dangerous to themselves than to the other team. I shouldn't fucking be WORRIED because Buffalo has the 1 man advantage, but I *always* am. And in this case, they proved it again.
