The Horrors (UK)

I picked up their EP when I was in Tokyo back in November. Then about a few months later it came out over here. Just went to their show here in Toronto last night and thought they were really good live. They really remind me of the Cramps, which is a good thing.

 

Anyone else?

The Cramps are great, but there's nothing wrong with trying out new bands that were influenced by them.

Edit - Found them on MySpace and gave them a listen. They have a nice, basic sound, but I can see why people wouldn't be digging on them.

Really? This is wierd. Usually I'm the overly critical type for bands like this.. I guess it's because I was at a live show and they just had a good energy about them. Or maybe I'm broken? Too much Guinness? Nah, can't be that!

The one thing that sticks out in my mind about The Horrors is the lead singer getting drunk, breaking down to an NME reporter on a plane flight that the band was crap and people only liked them because of their hair.
