St. Gabe 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 I figure if I use more manpower I'll get better results, so If you are looking for some kind of challenge online or are just bored..here we go... I want to leave August 4th from O'Hare Airport (ORD) And I'll be flying to Rome Fuminico Airport (FCO) There will most definitely be a layover somewhere, which is fine. I will be returning from Rome to O'Hare on August 12th. I'm hoping some of you are better at this that I am. Thanks for your help in advance. -Gabe
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 Not sure if you can do this, but if the flight where you are going is never really full, then try getting a standby ticket. Sure you may get bumped from the flight if it fills up, but its pretty cheap. Then again, I'm not sure if you can still do that, but I used to do it all the time when I was flying home from College. But I am in Canada and that was within the same province.

Dandy 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 Sorry I didn't see this thread before, as I might have been able to get a cheaper flight for you. My friend and neighbor has his own website for all travel and accomodations (http://www.cccvacations.com), and you can use that site as a one stop shop. Typically, you save a little from sites such as orbitz, travelocity, etc. Edit---Just ran a search on the page and the best it came up with was $1,377.00. Mik 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 Holy fuck. I didn't even pay that much to fly JFK to Melbourne, Australia in 2002. My ticket was $1275. I went to Rome in 2004 and my ticket from Philadelphia was $450. What the hell is going on?
