Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2007 You'd rather they job an establish character out to the designated flavor of the month just so they can give him a push that likely won't have amounted to anything three months from now? Myself, I'd rather not see Matt Hardy and whoever else get fed to Mark Henry, for however long they're doing whatever it is they're doing with him. We know that when a wrestler gets lots of tv time, and promos and/or vignettes, that they're in line for a push. We know that, when said pushed wrestler is booked in a match against basically anybody besides the champion, that it's pretty much a lead-pipe cinch that whoever they're in the ring with is going to job... They don't need to use established stars for that.
RonL21 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2007 I don't mind a new guy winning a squash or 2 when they debut a new guy, but having an already established guy beating jobbers in squashes is just a waste of time you obviously missed the glory years of SuperStars, Challenge, Saturday Night....The Main event on Raw and the four PPVs a year was really the only chance you got to see the main roster face each other....The new breed of wrestling fans have missed so much

And besides, Mark Henry should just go back to lifting barrels and pulling semi trucks, he's really boring to watch in the wrestling ring.
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2007 I was not much of a wrestling fan back in the days of squashes. Since I couldn't order the PPV's there was nothing really worth watching half of the time.
Wrestlefreak 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2007 I hate that a crap worker like Khali is champ after we had great workers like Edge and Taker previously. I can't wait until the Smackdown roster gets back to normal, so that the show can regain its greatness. IMO, its still better than Raw or ECW.
luke-o 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2007 I just think it's funny that Khali has lifted the belt above his head upside down, not once, but twice.
AlwaysPissedOff 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2007 Jericho did the same thing when he was posing as the Undisputed Champion a few times. I hate that a crap worker like Khali is champ after we had great workers like Edge and Taker previously. So every champion has to be a great wrestler? Hell, I wouldn't even call Edge a "great" wrestler and I'm a huge Edge fan.

HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2007 Khali is a believable monster. That's good enough.
AlwaysPissedOff 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2007 Yeah, but Edge is a good worker. Khali brings nothing to the table. And your point is? I never said Khali being champ was a great thing(the celebration on SD was awesome, though), but whining like a bitch about the champion "not being a great worker" is stupid given the company that's being talked about and the person who's running it and his widely known leanings toward big ass sideshow freaks. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2007 They needed to pull the trigger on Khali anyways. I am shocked it took them as long as it did to do so. Strike when the iron's hot, coming off a program with their superman champion Cena.
