DrVenkman PhD Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Wow, almost $72M for Simpsons. I figured it would have a strong weekend, but not that strong. Good ting too, the movie is great.
Karnage Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 A well deserved win for the Simpsons. Nice to see Knocked Up still raking in the dough too.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Knocked Up brought in $145 mil? Jesus.
Taker666 Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 I'am very happy that The Simpsons raked in the dough. even happier that the lindsey lohan movie failed miserably.
RedJed Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 What is "No Reservations"? For all of you that said Simpsons would bomb or dissapoint (see summer movies thread), well........???
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 No Reservations is that Aaron Eckhart/Catherine Zeta Jones romantic comedy about chefs or something.
tbondrage99 Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 After hearing the excellent reviews and now seeing the box office it makes it even harder for me to wait until next weekend to see The Simpsons Movie.
Gary Floyd Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 I'm really glad the Simpsons movie did so good. It was great, and reminded me of the show in it's prime. I saw "I Know Who Killed Me" last night. It's not as bad as some are making it out to be, but it's not good either.
AntiLeaf33 Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 Good to see the Simpsons cleaning up at the box office. TOo bad I don't get paid for another 2 weeks though.....
