Ken Kennedy-McMahon.

It'd be genius if they started using that as his in-ring name.

That's pretty much the idea......it's Kennedy there really is no speculation to it.

Wow, you guys are whiny bastards. That was the best show in a long while.

Well there's no accounting for taste........I watch wrestling to see wrestling not a cut rate sitcom.

You notice the little comment mcmahon asked on his way out about it being a "hell of a show"....i guess even he realized, in his infinite wisdom, this show sucked harder than a 20 dollar hooker.

Who was the Tough Enough kid who was going to be in this angle?

It wasn't a TE kid, but at one point they were going to bring up Nikita Fink as half-sister or something to Stephanie.

And a craptacular ending to one of the worst Raw's in a long time. Total dogshit.

Yeah, I remember that also, but that isn't what I'm talking about.

What I'm talking about wasn't actually a plan or anything, it was just some Tough Enough kid doing a promo on the show goofing around, saying that he's coming to WWE and that he's Vince's long lost son or something like that. I don't remember which one said all of that though.

Surely someone else remembers this.

It was one of the guys who didn't get picked on the audition show, I remember it.

You've been watching the wrong company for 20 years. The show was entertaining without being that insulting. They got Santino over as a heel and Umaga over as a face and that helps a lot. And Regal is an authority figure again.

They should bring in a little black kid called "Lil Shabazz" to be his son.

Congrats go out to 2GOLD for referencing "The Critic" with the WWE.

PWInsider.com reported Monday afternoon that multiple sources familiar with the plans for tonight's RAW are very optimistic about the show.

According to the report, if the show airs according to the plans as they were during the day, it will be a "very fun" edition of the Monday wrestling program.

Thats just damn scary.

Was THAT really what they were referring to?

"Hello I'm Kareem Abdul Jabar. And this is little Knothead".

Coach: This is ridiculous, I've got a Master's in communication!

Jabar: Now he's going to sing while I'll drink this water.

Coach: John Jacob Jingeheimer Schmidt, that's my name too... I spit in the water"

I haven't read any other comments yet, but I personally thought that the McMahon segment at the very end was absolutely fucking amazing for both marks and smarks alike, and the whole "IRS/Illegitimate child" thing is a perfect swerve away from the "death" thing. I was really impressed with what the WWE pulled together tonight when they were supposedly in panic mode.

And McMahon telling London 'Keep that smile" or whatever he said exactly.... I was fucking rolling!

When I think of this Vince storyline, I can't help but think of the episode of The Simpsons where Mr. Burns discovers that he has a son as well.

I wonder if they'll play it up like that.

Coach or Regal as Smithers?

Given that their #2 and #3 babyfaces are on the shelf, the tag division is dead after LonDrick lost to WGTT, and the Women generally suck, Raw came through with:

- An actual interesting battle royal.

- Creating a new #2 face.

- Booking Carlito to his strengths (his gimmick, not his in-ring work)

- A "looks to be a disaster, but turns out funny" game show gimmick

- Turning Santino well

- A somewhat interesting "Whodunnit?"

If you think about it, Raw didn't have a lot to work with tonight.

Come on, if you didn't pop for "SPAM!", you suck at life.

Seeing as I don't watch RAW expecting to see great matches, but more out of habit, I found tonight's show quite entertaining. The Cena's Cabana bit was stupid as hell, but IRS, Simmons, Regal, Santino, etc. and going back to a mystery storyline made the show fun for me.

When Cena was getting triple teamed, I wondered to myself who was gonna make the save..Jeff is gone, Lashley is gone, HBK is gone, HHH isn't back yet..there really are no main event faces left. I guess they had no choice but to turn Umaga.

I think it's been well established that HTQ has no sense of humour.

Because I didn't laugh at a boring skit that never ended and had no finish? They could have at least had Maria go off with Ron and leave Santino fuming before Umaga came out.

I got a kick out of IRS's cameo, though.

What the hell, at least this Raw wasn't boring as shit tonight. At this point I'll take having my jaw drop over Vince badmouthing Congress and the IRS. And I kinda dug the Dating Game bit as well, Simmons is awesome. Not that I'd want to see such a skit every week, but it was fun for tonight.

If there is a troubling aspect of this show however it's that the entire program was once AGAIN all about Vince: Him badmouthing Congress, the IRS, the paternity suit. I don't exactly see how Kennedy can be the illegitimate kid, since the whole point of a paternity suit is that the mother would have a young child and need some money. How could Kennedy be Vince's kid and why would the mother wait over 30 YEARS to mention this? What, did Vince knock up some chick after a Packers game in the men's room at Lambeau Field?

I dunno. I couldn't help but think whoever wrote this show tonight was doing a Vince Russo impersonation without taking into account the things that made Russo's WWF booking interesting. Namely things like everyone has a role, everyone is doing something, the belts are all being defended and each title has a program (even if belts change hands rapid fire). After tonight we have a world title feud with Cena/Orton and.....what exactly? I don't see Umaga with a viable challenger, unless it's Carlito the Job Boy. No sign of the tag champs. Maybe Jillian is being built to challenge Candice, but who knows.

And by the way, that Regal thing was total bullshit. I expected him to win and become GM, but the way it went down was horribly done. When they came back from commercial I was looking for him and didn't see him in the ring, so I figured he was eliminated with zero fanfare. They really should have at least shown Regal on the floor or made some kind of mention of it.

Then you would've known he was going to win. I'm glad they didn't do that and instead showed the replay.

Or maybe, just maybe they could stop booking that stupid fucking finish to every battle royale? Hell, we saw Edge win a MITB spot by doing this same tactic, and recently on OVW I saw Shawn Spears hide and eliminate Cody Rhodes (which cost him a shot at Cena).
